Demetrius Sadler Serving as GFM’s Spring 2023 Intern

Demetrius Sadler is Good Faith Media’s Ernest C. Hynds Jr. intern for the spring 2023 semester.

“I am excited to become a part of Good Faith Media and contribute to the message of spreading Christian love to the world. I hope that my role as an intern can positively contribute to more creative and innovative ways of reaching people that align with Good Faith’s mission,” Sadler said.

“The warm and inviting environment I have felt already from everyone on the staff has made me feel even more confident that I am on the right path and this relationship is going to be a fruitful one,” he said. “I am excited to join the team and to get to work, being a positive influence on the company.”

Sadler, whose friends call him DK, is a recent graduate of the University of Rochester. He holds a degree in digital media studies and audio engineering.

From writing complex stories to music production, Sadler strives to make something original and interesting to help others. He hopes to continue to learn new things in the creative space that interests him, particularly filmmaking.

“Good Faith Media’s internship program provides an incredible opportunity for individuals to entertain a career in writing and media production,” said Good Faith Media CEO Mitch Randall. “We welcome Demetrius to the GFM team this semester. His experience in media production and writing will add to the quality of GFM’s content. We look forward to reading his columns and benefiting from his creative productions. ”

The internship program was launched in the fall semester of 2020, with brief reflections from previous interns available here.

A gift from the foundation of First Baptist Church of Athens, Georgia, where Ernest Hynds was a beloved member, helped establish the internship program. Hynds was a professor and department head in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.

Gifts to support this ongoing engagement with the next generation of communicators may be made by contacting Mitch Randall by email ([email protected]) or by phone at 615-627-7763.

Prospective interns may learn more about the internship program here, and can inquire about upcoming internships by contacting GFM at [email protected].

The deadline to apply for the summer 2023 internship is March 1.
