Kirk Cameron, Coffey Anderson Bring Powerful Pro-Faith Message

After being rejected by multitudes of libraries to hold a faith-based children’s story hour at their facilities, Kirk Cameron’s plight has garnered a lot of national attention and the tables are turning.

Cameron has spent the past few weeks touring the country as many other libraries have opened their doors to the actor-writer-producer to focus on his new children’s book, “As You Grow,” which imparts biblical wisdom to kids.

One such venue is the Chatham County Public Library in Savannah, Georgia, where he and country music singer Coffey Anderson will appear together to share their pro-faith, pro-family and pro-America messages.

The two will address an expected crowd of about 1,000 people at the event Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., as Cameron works to “take back story hour” for kids and families in a “woke and broke America.” The room they have booked for the event holds only 200 people, so the library is preparing to usher in several groups of attendees during the allotted time period.

“More parents have been crying out more loudly than when we first started this book tour in December,” Cameron told Fox Digital News. “It couldn’t come at a better time given the crumbling state of the morality of our nation.”

The “woke” list of libraries that rejected Cameron’s requests did so on the basis of political correctness and “diversity.”

Those libraries included the Rochambeau Public Library in Providence, Rhode Island, which told Cameron and his publisher by phone, “No, we will pass on having you run a program in our space. .. We are a very queer-friendly library. Our messaging does not align.”

Despite many in the culture who espouse a differing opinion, Cameron says that Americans want “real faith and morality for our children.”

The Grammy performance the other night is a perfect picture of the moral state of the union,” Cameron says. “You had a mainstream celebrity dressed up as Satan, and men dressed as women performing erotic acts on stage, with no warning—all sponsored by your favorite healthcare professional, Pfizer.

“If we don’t turn the tide quickly, it soon will be the ‘Sam Smith Show’ in your kid’s classroom.”
