On Tuesday, if Donald Trump is right on the timing, America will officially and formally become a Bananas Republic. A full-blown Banana Republic, where the political opposition leader is arrested on trumped up charges. Bananas in the fact that Trump is being charged for payments to a stripper while a private citizen … a stripper who now owes him $300,000 because of an earlier politically-motivated effort to bring Trump down.
That’s not a legal drama. That’s a farce.
Was there any doubt that someone was going to indict Donald Trump for something in an effort to (again) sabotage the American voter from having a free and fair election?
The “He caused an insurrection!” nonsense is falling flat, so let’s bring back Stormy Daniels!
Really? Seven years later, and we’re talking about Stormy Daniels again? Didn’t we go through this in 2016? And when Michael Avenatti was on CNN every 30 minutes … before he was arrested for defrauding Daniels? I mean, Daniels herself lost her case against Trump over the NDA she signed. But here we are again. With politically-motivated Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg set to send the nation over the abyss by arresting a former president … a former president who is challenging the current president.
This too would be a farce, if the consequences to our nation weren’t so dire.
The Details
Trump is reportedly set to be indicted over money paid to Stormy to keep a hush during the 2016 election about an alleged affair. Specifically, Trump is accused of paying Daniels some $130,000 via attorney Michael Cohen in 2016 to not publically talk about an alleged 2006 dalliance. Cohen paid Daniels, and Trump paid Cohen in installments. Trump denies the affair, and for that matter, so did Daniels until Michael Avenatti came along.
On Saturday, Trump described the criminal allegation as “fully debunked,” posting on Truth Social:

FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!
No, it is not a good thing if Trump was canoodling with Daniels while Melania was pregnant. And an NDA and some bucks for Daniels to keep on the down low is not a good look. (Though it always seemed to me $130,000 was rather a cheap price for a billionaire in the middle of a campaign to pay to hush an old fling when she could have gotten far more from a tabloid. But I digress.)
Payments to Keep People Quiet in a Campaign a Crime? Really?
But where’s the crime? Especially when you apply the Second Law of Snake News. “Any road you go down with Donald Trump, you run into a superhighway named Biden, Clinton or Obama.”
Quick question: Is a politician paying someone to keep quiet a crime? Then where’s the indictment of Barack Obama for offering to paying his anti-Semitic, American-hating pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright $150,000 to keep quiet during the 2008 campaign? Rev. Wright himself talked about that in a 2012 interview with Ed Klein.
Maybe I’m wrong, but what affects the nation more? Learning that Donald Trump — who spent 30 years on every tabloid in America — may have had a fling with a stripper? Or that the relatively unknown Barack Obama had been mentored and tutored and studied and worshiped under a proven anti-Semite who’s a leading proponent of the Marxist “Black Liberation Theology”?
Let’s see: Candidate embraced a stripper years before running. Candidate embraces Marxism.
As for Joe Biden. Biden didn’t need an NDA with Tara Reade, who credibly accused him of sexual assault. He just buried her personnel records at the University of Delaware, and counted on the media to keep it hush hush. Biden also used the FBI to raid journalists in an effort to get hold of his daughter’s diary, which speaks far louder about Biden’s character than anything Stormy Daniels could ever say about Trump.
For that matter, if we’re talking “rich guy drops money on mistress,” bank records prove Biden’s business partner dropped $35,000 of Communist Chinese cash into Hunter’s mistress’s account. That would be Hallie Biden, widow of Beau. For that matter, according to Hunter’s laptop, Joe gave his son a huge wad of dough that was used to pay for one of Hunter’s hooker binges. Might that be seen as a political pay-off to keep Hunter’s debts — and the nature of those debts — under wraps?
As for the Clintons, go ask Jeffrey Epstein what happens to people who might do some talking.
The Dire Prospect
Unfortunately, whataboutism, doesn’t work here because of the enormous crisis that’s about to befall the country. The arrest of a presidential candidate that a majority of Americans believe was duly re-elected. A candidate that the current president has targeted with all “constitutional” measures to prevent from taking office ever again. A current president who is currently rounding up political opposition by the hundreds, while targeting the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment and the 5th Amendment.
In a preamble to his statement above, President Trump summarized his view of the state of the nation.
On first blush, it reads as another dose of Trump’s guy from Queens hyperbole.

MILLIONS ARE FLOODING THROUGH OUR OPEN BOARDERS, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS. CRIME & INFLATION ARE DESTROYING OUR VERY WAY OF LIFE…
The question of the hour: Is he really that far off? Are we really that far off course? Or is the journey over the cliff just beginning?
On Tuesday, the Manhattan D.A. will ignore the blood in the streets to get Trump’s scalp in hand. Joe Biden will nod in approval, at the latest assault on his political rival, at the headlines that will hide the meltdown of our financial institutions, at the great shiny distraction from his corrupt Communist Chinese paydays.
In a Bananas Republic, despotism means never having to say you’re sorry.
The Dream
All that said, there is hope. Trump is wrong on this one thing: Though dying, the American Dream is not dead. In fact, it is awakening. You can sense it in the air. You can see it in the panic of the Left. You can hear it in Biden’s bitter bluster. America will recognize the events of this coming week for what they are.
Through prayer, political action, peaceful protest … and Spirit-fueled perseverance, we can and will take our nation back.
