Former satanist John Ramirez warned viewers about the seduction of power and greed on the Steve Deace Show, exposing the reality that witchcraft has permeated into our culture—and it’s a lot deeper than most people realize.
“It’s a reality, I mean it’s there,” Ramirez said. “We see it everywhere. I mean think about it, right? They’re not hiding it anymore. Disney’s doing it, Harry Potter’s doing it, they’re all introducing witchcraft to children, to people, to opportunities in politics, Hollywood, it’s all there. It’s just become the norm.”
Ramirez also called out some major celebrities that he ran into during his 25 years in the satanic realm.
“I was in the same occult practices, in the same realms of people like Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, I know Jay-Z and Beyoncé, these people are illuminatis,” Ramirez said. “When you want fame, you pay, you’re willing to sign anything on the dotted line…It is the seduction of power and greed that comes into the person.”
Ramirez also shared that he had invited Marilyn Manson many times to go out to eat with him and claims to have helped a former girlfriend of Manson’s receive deliverance.
Ramirez pointed out that the culture hasn’t only normalized occult practices, but the problem with celebrity involvement goes beyond their own desires for glory and fame. It is a deceptive trap of the enemy to use influential voices to sway people away from God, just as Lucifer did to a third of the angels.
“When you look at these people, they are influencers, and that’s what the devil wants you to be, influencers,” Ramirez said.
Ramirez started in the realm of witchcraft at only seven years old and didn’t leave until he was 35. However, Ramirez noticed horrific things that happened to many people once they were trapped in the world of the demonic. This kept members too afraid to even think about leaving, including numerous freak car accidents and sudden medical issues that left one young woman to die prematurely.
Ramirez also believes that it is easy for many to get caught up in the occult for various reasons, including generational family patterns. However, he says one of the ways that many people have been influenced into this is through the normalization of Santeria.
“Santeria means worship the saints; that’s how they dress it up, but it’s truly worship a demon,” Ramirez said.
Before he became a Christian, Ramirez was completely sold out to the devil. He received scars of the upside down cross to actually sell his soul to the devil in a satanic blood ritual to reach the highest rank of the occult.
“I would sit with the devil all night long,” Ramirez said. “Showing up in my apartment, would sit and have conversation.”
Now that he is fighting against the enemy, Ramirez has made it his mission to see captives set free and to expose the devil for who he really is. Above all, he’s bringing hope that God can turn around anyone and any situation, just as he did for him. Ramirez shared with Deace that his new book, “Fire Prayers,” helps individuals learn how they can pray for Christ’s redemption, deliverance and healing over their lives.
“People, don’t panic, don’t fret,” Ramirez said. “Jesus is Lord. He’s sitting on the throne. It’s not where you start; it’s where you finish…You need to know that the devil is real, but God is more real.”
