Pastors John and Debbie Lindell Stepping Down From James River Church

After more than 30 years as lead pastors of a southwest Missouri megachurch, the Lindell’s have begun the final stage in those roles.

The leadership transition for James River Church will take place over a four-year cycle that will see the Lindell’s sons and their daughters-in-law become co-lead pastors starting in 2027.

“One of the surprises in our ministry has been blessing and the joy of getting to work with our kids — David, Brandon and Savannah,” said Debbie Lindell, in the video. “When we started this journey, we honestly never imagined that it would be possible.”

From Playing Teenage Witch to Waging Spiritual Warfare

Actress Melissa Joan Hart has been outspoken in recent years about the faith journey that has led her to find salvation in Jesus Christ. Now she’s speaking out about the importance of prayer after she suddenly found herself drawn directly into the tragic school shooting in Nashville.

As CBN’s Faithwire reports, Hart and her husband, Mark Wilkerson, were in their car on Monday when they noticed a group of kindergarteners running out of the woods, near The Covenant School, a private Christian school for Pre-K through sixth graders. The 46-year-old actor’s three children—ages 10, 15 and 17—attend a school right next to Covenant.

“Luckily, we are all OK,” the celebrity tearfully explained in an Instagram post. “But we did—my husband and I were on our way to school for conferences—and luckily our kids weren’t in today. We helped a class of kindergartners across a busy highway.”

America Continues Its Spiritual Awakening as Hundreds Baptized in Gatlinburg

In the weeks and months since the “Asbury Awakening,” the move of God continues to unfold on secular and Christian college campuses, youth events and at churches across the country.

As CBN News reported, the Holy Spirit continues to spark fires of revival in the hearts and minds of young people.

Winterfest, an annual youth rally near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in February saw hundreds respond to the gospel call to be baptized.

Lee Grady: ‘People Are Seeing the Demonic Realm Like Never Before’

Evangelist Lee Grady says that Satan has made a huge mistake in our culture, and it’s time for God’s people to take advantage of it and fix the huge mess he has created in our society.

In the wake of last week’s tragic shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, in which three children and three adults were senselessly murdered, Grady says people are beginning to see with their eyes, and hearts, the enemy’s diabolical and sinister agenda of transgenderism and gender dysphoria.

The assassination of six people by Audrey Hale is a mental health issue, but it is mostly a spiritual issue, Grady says. Satan’s biggest mistake is that people—even non-believers—can see the depravity and nefariousness in it.

Celebrity Megachurch Churchome Slapped With Class-Action Lawsuit

A Seattle-area megachurch that has hosted celebrities such as Russell Wilson and Justin Bieber among its thousands of members has been accused in a lawsuit of requiring employees to tithe back 10% of their earnings or face repercussions including termination.

Churchome is led by Judah Smith and his wife, Chelsea, who according to the Churchome website, are the church’s lead communicator and lead theologian, respectively.

The Smiths are named as the plaintiffs in the 44-page lawsuit along with CEO David Kroll and his wife, Jenna Kroll, which was filed on behalf of Rachel Kellogg and no less than 100 fellow employees of Churchome who have been affected by this mandatory policy, according to The Christian Post.
