The site where many Christians deem to be their holiest—where Jesus was crucified, entombed and resurrected—seems to be encountering the opposite affect of the peace Jesus had envisioned.
In a situation that has carried on for centuries, Egyptian Coptic monks and Ethiopian Orthodox monks continue to be embroiled in a conflict over control for a small monastery built on the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site where it is believed Jesus suffered, died and then rose again.
And according to DNYUZ, the site has become one of “petty quarrels that occur on a near-annual basis, and sometimes the quarrels boil over into violence.
Legendary Preacher Charles Stanley Dies at 90
Founder of In Touch Ministries and senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Atlanta for nearly 50 years Charles Stanley died Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. peacefully at his home, his website charlesstanley.com reported.
Stanley spent 65 years in the ministry, and his website said he modeled his ministry after the apostle Paul’s message in Acts 20:24: “Life is worth noting unless I used it for doing the work assigned by me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.” (TLB)
Stanley is survived by his son, Andy, and daughter, Becky. Andy Stanley is the senior pastor at North Point Ministries, a nondenominational evangelical Christian church with several campuses across the north metro Atlanta area.
Disgraced Megachurch Pastor James MacDonald Arrested for Felony Assault

Such is the case for the former Senior Pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel James MacDonald.
As reported by The Roys Report, “Disgraced megachurch pastor James MacDonald has been arrested and charged with felony assault and battery in California, after authorities say he attacked a 59-year-old woman, resulting in ‘serious injuries.'”
