Encouraging State Prayer Update! – Intercessors for America

It may seem strange that God chooses to work through imperfect and erring people to accomplish His purposes on earth, yet He does. Yes, with all of our faults, weaknesses, and at times, lack of faith, God still chooses to use each of us to share the Good News and to pray for His will to be done for His Kingdom. This is why we continue to pray and not lose heart.

Who is praying on the wall?

A major victory took place for a California mom, Jessica Konen, who recently won her case against the Spreckels Union School District in Monterey. You will remember the school district went after her when she stood up to them and refused to go along with the school assisted transitioning of her 11 year old daughter! We praise God for this victory and I believe it was your prayers and action which certainly made the difference in this case!

From Center for American Liberty: Jessica’s daughter, Alicia, was recruited to join an “Equality Club,” where she was taught about bisexuality, transgender identities, and other LGBT concepts in just the sixth grade.  Shortly after joining the club, the school began to foster Alicia’s identification as a boy, giving her articles on how to conceal her supposed new gender identity from her mother and giving her a “Gender Support Plan” that required school staff to refer to her by a male name and male pronouns and to let her use the unisex teachers’ restroom instead of the girl’s restroom—all without even informing Jessica what it was doing.

After many months, the school eventually told Jessica that it had socially transitioned Alicia behind her back and demanded that Jessica refer to her daughter by a male name and male pronouns.

Jessica won and the school district must pay her $100,000. Praise God!
