GFM Staff issue the following statement following Hamas’ attack on Israel on Saturday, Oct. 7:

People of good faith condemn acts of violence toward all people regardless of religious affiliation. We also recognize that conflict never occurs in a vacuum. 

“Inevitably, oppressed people everywhere will seek — and gain — their freedom. We all deserve liberation, safety, and equality. The only way to get there is by uprooting the sources of the violence, beginning with our own government’s complicity,”
