Donald Trump shared on Truth Social that he “stand[s] with Israel.”
“#IStandWithIsrael,” Trump posted, adding, “#IStandWithBibi,” using the nickname for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In another post, Trump wrote that he has “always been impressed by the skill and determination of the Israeli Defence Forces.”
“As they defend their Nation against ruthless terrorists, I want to wish every soldier the best of luck. May you return home safely to your families, and may God bless you all.”
After Hamas initially attacked Israel, Trump said that Israel had “every right to defend itself with overwhelming force,” The Post Millennial reported.
“Sadly, American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks, which many reports are saying came from the Biden Administration,” Trump’s post read. “We brought so much peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, only to see Biden whittle it away at a far more rapid pace than anyone thought possible. Here we go again.”
On October 13, Trump released a video where he said, “The same people that raided Israel are pouring into our once beautiful USA, through our TOTALLY OPEN SOUTHERN BORDER, at Record Numbers…”
“Are they planning to attack within our country?” Trump asked. “Are we going to be raided like Israel was raided?”
