Religion News Service launches Religion & Faith Jobs Board

Religion News Service (RNS) today announces the Religion & Faith Jobs Board, a new career center that connects professionals across all disciplines and career stages with employers offering career opportunities in organizations connected to the religion, spirituality and faith sectors.

These career opportunities are vast, including finance managers, retreat center leaders, choir directors, fundraising professionals, university and seminary professors, architects, pastors, rabbis, imams, communications professionals, auditors, educators, IT specialists, and so much more.

“The religion and faith sector offers vast and diverse opportunities for qualified individuals and employers who are seeking their talents” Deborah Caldwell, RNS’s Publisher, said.  “We are especially proud of this initiative because it is the only jobs board in the religion sector with such a broad reach, a necessity for such an important part of the culture and economy.”

The Religion & Faith Jobs Board will allow individuals to:

  • Search and apply to the organizations that value your credentials.
  • Upload an anonymous resume so employers can contact you, but you maintain control of your information and choose to whom you release your information.
  • Receive an alert every time a job becomes available that matches your profile, skills, interests, and preferred location(s).
  • Access career resources and job searching tips and tools.
  • Experience a mobile-responsive environment to the optimal experience, regardless of device being used.

The Religion & Faith Jobs Board will allow employers to:

  • Post jobs where the most qualified candidates will find and apply to them.
  • Search the resume database and contact qualified candidates proactively.
  • Gain access to extensive employment brand advertising opportunities.
  • Expose job postings to a larger audience through multiple networks.
