Democrat Squad Member Rashida Tlaib Calls Biden ‘Enabler’ Of Genocide – American Faith

Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) condemned President Joe Biden’s actions in the Middle East, calling him an “enabler” of genocide and suggesting Democrats vote against him in November.

“It is disgraceful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to smear [pro-Palestinian protests] for protesting to save lives — no matter their faith or ethnicity. It is cowardly. But we’re not going to forget in November, are we?”

The statement suggests Tlaib is shifting her vote away from Biden.

“President Biden, I hope you hear us loud and clear,” she added. “Attacking the authority of the International Criminal Court and interfering in the legal process is nothing more than an attempt to prevent the genocidal maniac [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and senior Israeli officials from being held accountable for those crimes against humanity.”

Tlaib’s declaration refers to Biden’s criticisms of the ICC’s efforts to produce an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and other officials.

“You are an enabler, President Biden,” she asserted.

Tlaib’s speech was given during the “People’s Conference for Palestine” an event funded by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is registered as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Following the speech, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) called for Tlaib to be “removed from Congress immediately.”

“Associating with and speaking before groups that are funded by US designated terrorist organizations is disqualifying,” he wrote on X.

Biden has lost significant support among Democrats over his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

A campaign launched in Februrary, called “Listen to Michigan,” urged voters to vote “uncommittedd.”

The campaign was described not as an “endorsement of Trump or a desire to see him return to power,” but as an “opportunity to question whether the incumbent genuinely holds the support of his own party’s base.”
