First Lady Jill Biden claimed that President Joe Biden’s “strength is unshakeable,” despite his disastrous debate with former President Donald Trump this week.
“Even though he has faced unimaginable tragedies, his optimism is undaunted, his strength is unshakeable,” the First Lady said of Mr. Biden.
“His hope is undeterred,” she continued.
Jill Biden’s comments came the same day Democrats began calling for Biden to be replaced with another candidate following the debate.
Media groups admitted Biden’s failure, with CNN analyst Van Jones saying, “He’s doing the best that he can. But he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence in the country and of the base, and he failed to do that.”
Former Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang stated that the Democratic Party should “nominate someone else.”
“Guys, the Dems should nominate someone else – before it’s too late. #swapJoeout,” he wrote on X.
