It seems daily that news sites report the outrageous behavior of all kinds of people. Lawlessness. Chaos. There are spirits behind what we see in the headlines and we can stand in prayer against them.
Who is praying on the wall?
A prayer to address the spirit of Chaos
Prayer: Father, thank You for bringing awareness to Your people of the spiritual battle law enforcement faces in this nation. We realize the turmoil designed to incite people to riot in our streets, destroy property, and ignore the laws of this land comes from the ancient god of Chaos. We stand firm in the power of our God and address this underlying principality. We bind the spirit of Chaos that wants to rule from the high places and destroy America. You can no longer roam our streets, take captive the minds of our youth, undermine law enforcement, or weaken our judicial system. You are like chaff that the wind blows away. You will no longer rule over us. Those who look for you to carry out their evil plans will be disappointed and turn away. (Psalm 1:4) (2 Kings 23:5-7)
A prayer of repentance for allowing the Spirit of Chaos to enter America
Prayer: Father, we acknowledge that the people of the earth have defiled the land. We have disobeyed Your laws and broken an everlasting covenant with You, causing a curse to consume our land. We bind the spirit of Chaos that we allowed to create violence in our streets and blind the minds of our youth. We repent on behalf of the people of this nation. We ask that You grant us mercy and restore our land. We exalt the name of the Lord so our streets will once again be filled with Your people who sing your praises. (Isaiah 24)
A prayer of protection for law enforcement police as they stand against the manifestation of the spirit of Chaos
Prayer: Father, we pray for wisdom and protection for law enforcement who stand as our first line of defense in the natural against the Chaos happening in our streets. We ask for Your protection for those who work to prevent violence and protect the innocent. We realize the battle is not against flesh and blood, and the spirit of Chaos is an evil spirit that must be dealt with spiritually. We pray that the spiritually aware warriors who have faith in You will reclaim our nation and take their place in prayer to destroy this power of darkness. (Ephesians 6:12)
