After the election, Kamala Harris and President Biden delivered separate addresses to the nation. In her concession speech, Harris affirmed her commitment to America’s ideals and fighting for her principles. Biden commended Trump’s victory, ensured a peaceful transition, and called for unity, respecting the country’s decision.

As Trump readies for the White House, officials and activists are pledging resistance. New York’s Governor Kathy Hochul announced the “Empire State Freedom Initiative” alongside State Attorney General Letitia James. The two expressed their intentions to combat Trump should he try changing New York policies. Meanwhile, activists are forming a coalition to oppose Trump’s policies at the local level.

Trump’s election victory is invoking varied Middle East responses. Reactions range from hope for peace to stark defiance. Israelis expect more American support, while terrorists are demanding an end to what they call “Israeli aggression.”

Election Day saw pro-life victories in Florida, Nebraska, and South Dakota. These states voted against enshrining the right to abortion into their constitutions, and Nebraska even voted to enshrine a 12-week ban. In contrast, seven other states, including Arizona, Colorado, and New York, approved measures supporting a constitutional right to abortion.

Let’s pray. Dear Lord, we pray for our country in the wake of a tumultuous and controversial election. We pray for unity and healing, and we ask You to unite Americans behind their new President in January. We pray that the incoming administration will support Israel, and we thank You for the pro-life victories we saw in Florida, Nebraska, and South Dakota. We pray all this in Your name. Amen.

In the 2024 elections, Americans chose conservative values over radical, far-left ideals. Seen by some as a referendum or mandate signaling the nation’s dissatisfaction with its previous direction, it’s up to intercessors to pray that this change is permanent. Read the exclusive article by IFA President and CEO Dave Kubal and share your own thoughts at IFApray.org.

The 2024 election, marked by controversy and tension, resulted in a victory for Donald Trump and a shift to Republican control in the Senate. House votes are still coming in, but it is possible that Republicans may control Congress and the executive branch in 2025. Voters also weighed in on several ballot measures, resulting in both answered prayers and disappointments across the nation.

In his victory speech, Trump stated God spared his life to “restore America to greatness.” He confirmed triumphs in battleground states and spoke ardently about creating a “golden age” for America. His message highlighted his commitment to fight for America’s strong, safe, and prosperous future.

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Tensions arose over the current military campaign’s management, as the two disagreed over whether to draft ultra-Orthodox men into the IDF. How will Gallant’s dismissal and replacement affect the conflict in the Middle East?

Let’s pray. Lord God, we thank You for the many prayers You answered and are still answering during the election. We ask You to protect President Trump, Senator Vance, and everyone else involved in the incoming administration. We pray for a peaceful transition of power. We also lift up the war in Israel before You. Amid disagreements and personnel changes, we ask You to guide and protect Israel’s leadership. We pray all this in Your name. Amen.

In an incredible turn of events, Donald Trump has won the presidency, securing a second term in the White House. You can read about the election results and download a brand new prayer guide at IFApray.org.

A new amendment passed in 2022 revolutionized how executive power transfers post-election, affecting the 2024 presidential election. Fundamental changes include a quicker transition process, an escalation of criteria for congressional objections, and mandatory federal support for the winning candidate. Now, in the waning hours of a tumultuous election season, we’ll see these rules in action as the country prepares for a new administration.

Ahead of the US election, 150 Israeli Jews gathered in the ancient city of Shiloh to pray for America. This event, hosted by Yisrael Ganz, aimed to reciprocate the longstanding support and prayers offered for Israel by many Americans. It is encouraging to know that, just as we pray for the Jews in Israel, those same Jews are praying for us and our elections.

Cuba, a State Sponsor of Terrorism, is intent on continuing its tirade against the U.S., regardless of any specific election results. The Communist Party’s official newspaper, Granma, vows to remain a “thorn in the side” of America.

Let’s pray. Father, we offer You our thanks for the election results that You ordained. We also thank You for leading the Jews in Israel to pray for our nation. Finally, we ask you to disarm the enemies of America and foil their plans. We pray all of this in Your name. Amen.

The Pentagon’s recent Directive 5240.01 authorizes the use of lethal force against American citizens. This shocking directive empowers potentially lethal military assistance to local law enforcement during political unrest situations. The directive’s vagueness raises concerns over potential misuse, especially toward protesters.

Democrats and mainstream media depict potential Election Day chaos. The media has flooded the news with headlines warning of violence, raising concerns of post-election unrest among Americans. Experts argue these headlines might inadvertently instigate violence.

The Pentagon reportedly neglected to provide overseas troops with absentee ballots, causing a stir among Republican lawmakers. Meanwhile, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services refused to provide Iowa with information about potential illegal voters on electoral rolls. As the election season draws to a close, it seems that the federal government is failing to adequately support the states as they run multiple elections.

Early voting reached record levels, with over 60 million Americans casting ballots early. Both political parties are reporting strong early turnout, especially in battleground states. Factors contributing to this surge include a desire for change and concerns about long lines and disturbances on Election Day.

This Election Day, we’d like to offer a prayer for election integrity taken from our prayer guide, “Prayers for Electing Righteous Leaders.” Lord Jesus, we pray that those involved in the electoral process would not be drawn into evil or take part in evil deeds. We pray that integrity and uprightness would guide them and that any who are unfaithful would be exposed for their duplicity. Father, You declare that those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes will dwell on the heights in righteousness and will find their needs supplied by You. May they do what is right in Your eyes, Lord.

Former President Donald Trump has sued CBS News, alleging deceptive editing of Vice President Harris’ “60 Minutes” interview. This $10 billion lawsuit accuses CBS of doctoring the interview, replacing one answer with another to make the Vice President look better. Trump seeks a trial by jury alongside significant damages, claiming CBS’s editing constitutes a deceitful manipulation of news.

Speaking of Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson revealed that Obamacare may face significant reforms if the former President wins the election. Amid controversy, Johnson emphasized that this does not mean eradicating the policy but refining it. While Vice President Kamala Harris criticized this move, Johnson remained firm in the necessity for change.

Thousands of students recently convened at Texas A and M University for a large Christian event. Organized by Unite US, the gathering saw over 10,000 attendees, with hundreds reported to have been baptized. The event proved that God is still at work among America’s youth.

A recent survey revealed that nearly half of Gen Z voters have lied about who they voted for in the presidential election. This trend is attributed to the youth growing up during the hyper-polarized Trump era, making them more susceptible to perceived judgment. The report’s findings raise questions about the reliability and future of polling, as well as the political division in our nation.

Let’s pray about these issues. Holy God, we pray for truth and integrity in the media. We pray for our leaders on both sides of the political aisle, and we pray that they would bring necessary change after the election. We thank You for the students who attended the event in Texas and were baptized, and we pray that thousands more would praise Your name. Finally, we ask You to heal the deep political division in our nation. We pray all this in Your name. Amen.

It’s all about the election today. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that Virginia may purge noncitizens from voter rolls. It overruled a lower court that had prevented the removal of around 1,600 “self-identified” noncitizens. This move is a victory for election integrity.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is preparing for post-election lawsuits, strengthening their legal team. More than 400 lawyers are already working on briefs before the results, and reports indicate that another 10,000 are ready to support their legal efforts. They are focused on monitoring Republicans and proactively responding to potential legal issues before and after polls. Despite the pre-election litigation, an intense legal period is anticipated post-November 5.

An Appeals Court sided with Republicans, blocking Mississippi’s post-election day grace period for mail-in ballots. This decision is different from the state court ruling in Nevada, which allows the counting of ballots without postmarks indefinitely after the election. The ruling drew criticism, with opponents claiming it particularly hinders military members, disabled individuals, and those living overseas.

The New York Times contacted conservative commentator Ben Shapiro and other conservative broadcasters to question election-related YouTube content. Shapiro makes a strong case that the Times, working with the far-left Media Matters organization is aiming to stifle conservative voices before the election. Shapiro believes this move is an attempt to pressure YouTube into demonetizing and thus limiting the reach of right-leaning content creators.

Let’s pray. Lord, we pray that we will trust in You with all your hearts and not lean on our own understanding. God, You are an “everlasting rock,” and nothing compares to You. We pray for Your will in all things. We pray that the will of men would be supplanted by the will of God and we pray for the will of Satan to be ruined. In Jesus’ name, amen.

These are the headlines for today, Wednesday, October 30, 2024

Let’s start with election news. President Trump spoke from his heart to the faith community at an event with faith leaders, including IFA President/CEO Dave Kubal. He said, “We’re going through a lot of problems in our country. If you take a look at the anger and the problems we have, and the problem is it’s less based on religion now than it was 25 years ago — It’s the glue that holds it together.”

The Nevada Supreme Court upheld a law permitting counting mailed ballots without postmarks after Election Day. The court ruling followed the attempt of the Republican National Committee and former President Donald Trump’s campaign committee to block this process.

In other news, a surprising voice is speaking out on media bias. Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos criticized media left-wing bias in an op-ed on Monday. He emphasized that journalists are now rated below Congress in trust and reputation surveys. Bezos wrote, ““It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility.”

Finally, a multi-faith coalition is urging the Supreme Court to uphold religious freedom. Christians, Muslims, and Jews are siding with New York nuns against mandatory abortion funding. The case will potentially be heard by the Supreme Court later this autumn.

Lord, we lift up every voter and every vote ahead of the election. We ask You to prevent fraud and to protect the election. We pray that Jeff Bezos’ op-ed will create a sea change in media. And we pray for the preservation of our religious freedom to refuse to fund abortion. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Have you noticed the unsettling trend of pastors and public figures promoting non-biblically sound ideas?  With issues such as abortion, transgender, and religious liberty on the ballots, we need the Word of God as our plumb line.

Recent developments suggest Amish voter turnout could significantly increase in the upcoming 2024 U.S. Presidential election. Liberal influences threatening the Amish way of life have propelled them to political involvement, possibly tilting towards supporting Donald Trump. Various initiatives such as the Amish PAC Plain Voter Project, and Early Vote Action, strive to bolster Amish voter registration and turnout.

A proposed amendment in Arizona may eliminate the current 15-week abortion restriction. Known as “Proposition 139”, it will abolish the state’s parental consent law. As with nine other states, Arizona’s abortion rules are to be determined in the November ballot.

Late Friday, Israel retaliated against Iranian military targets after enduring months of attacks. Launching airstrikes on Iran, Israel’s focus is exclusively on military locations, avoiding nuclear facilities or oil fields. Although Syria reported concurrent attacks with Israel’s strike on Iran, Israeli officials have made no mention of action in Syria.

Let’s pray. Lord God, we pray for Your will to be done in the elections and ballot initiatives nationwide. Help us vote biblically on every candidate and ballot initiative. We pray that the pro-abortion initiatives would fail and life would be protected. Finally, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Thank you for all that Israel is doing to thwart terrorism in the Middle East, which will impact the whole world. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is accusing fire and police departments of discrimination against black and female applicants. Critics fear this approach could threaten physical and mental standards in the name of equity.

The doctor who heads the largest youth gender clinic in the United States withheld results from a puberty-blocker study involving gender dysphoric children. The suppressed results showed no positive mental health impact of using puberty blockers. Influential figures are speaking out against this scientific information withholding.

Father God, we pray for a strong border and solutions to the problems caused by the overwhelming influx of illegal aliens in the past few years. We also pray that You would protect our police and fire departments from DEI ideologies and policies. Finally, we ask You to dispel the lies about transgenderism used to hurt kids. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Scheduled for November 27th, the trial could have serious implications in America as well as the Netherlands.

Georgia’s Supreme Court recently blocked new ballot rules from Republicans. The G O P had sought to introduce new regulations mandating the hand counting of ballots, among other provisions. Although the Republican party intends to appeal, the high court’s decision means these rules will not be in place for this year’s election.

In additional election news, California, Colorado, and Hawaii residents will vote on state constitutional amendments defining marriage in November. The proposed ballot measures would bolster legal protections for same-sex marriage despite federal law already protecting it. Activists fear future backing for same-sex marriage may be uncertain, prompting these preemptive state-level actions.

In a recent development, Kamala Harris expressed intentions to eliminate the Senate filibuster. This strategic move is meant to facilitate the passing of radical legislation through Congress. According to a recent interview, Harris hopes to abolish the filibuster to pave the way for the codification of Roe v. Wade.

Let’s pray about these issues. Father God, we lift up Bill Gates’ trial in the Netherlands in November, and we pray for a just verdict that honors You. We pray for safe and secure elections in November, especially in swing states like Georgia. We also pray that You would inspire people to vote in a way that honors and glorifies You. Finally, Lord, we pray for Vice President Harris. We ask You to transform her into a leader who honors and boldly follows You.

Attorney General Merrick Garland says there has been a significant rise in threats towards election workers since 2020. Some are concerned that this effort is not what it seems.

Recent transcripts suggest former Fulton County, Georgia, special prosecutor Nathan Wade met with White House officials during his investigation into president Donald Trump. The details of the encounters are still unclear. Wade became national news because of his romantic relationship with District Attorney Fani Willis who led the Georgia investigation of Trump. Wade resigned from the case, but these White House meetings raise more ethical questions about the probe.

Florida has accused the FCC of championing “dangerous” misinformation through pro-choice ads. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody criticized the FCC for defending TV ads that gave a false impression of the state’s abortion laws. The ads involved the pro-abortion ballot initiative, Amendment 4.

We thank you for the rainbow revival celebration of how Jesus is setting people free. In His name, we pray, amen.

Our top news story involves crime in America. The FBI recently revised its 2022 crime data, which shows that crime has increased, not decreased. The change highlights a broader issue with the FBI’s approach to data collection, which has been marred by challenges such as incomplete data, variations in reporting standards, and the omission of unreported crimes.

The Satanic Temple has opened a second abortion clinic in Virginia, ominously called the Right to Your Life Satanic Abortion Clinic. These telehealth clinics emphasize a spiritual experience. The Satanic Temple aims to codify abortion as a religious practice and argue for exemption from restrictions under religious liberties.

Meanwhile, a recent U.S. Army training labeled pro-life organizations as potential terrorist threats. Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of Defense in response to the army briefing that identified nonviolent, pro-life groups like National Right to Life and Operation Rescue to be terrorist groups. The briefing has been updated as a result of the lawsuit.

Finally, former collegiate athlete Riley Gaines recently launched Project BOYcott at the Riley Gaines Center. The project supports female athletes who refuse to compete against biological males. We pray for the protection of the unborn and ask the plans and purposes of the Satanic Temple would come to nothing. We pray against the targeting of innocent pro-lifers and pro-life groups. And we pray that you would bless the efforts of Riley Gaines to protect women’s sports. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Over the summer, the Supreme Court struck down the Chevron deference, a precedent that allowed agencies to interpret and define their ambiguous statutes. Despite this, the Department of Health and Human Services cut funding for Tennessee under Title 10 for refusing to offer pro-abortion counseling to pregnant women. At the heart of this issue is whether the HHS can, in a post-Chevron nation, reinterpret section 1008 of Title 10 against past precedent. Many are calling on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear Tennessee’s lawsuit concerning this issue, which could have lasting ramifications on the power of federal agencies in America.

Meta, previously known as Facebook, is allegedly using its influence to sway the 2024 election. President Biden has wiped out an additional $4.7 billion in student debt for over 60,000 public service workers. Before Biden’s term, only 7,000 public service workers had received relief under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Two DOE programs aimed at improving national security are reportedly funding anti-American educational institutions. Over $2.8 million, intended to cultivate future diplomats and foreign language experts, was awarded to prestigious schools like Columbia University and Georgetown University between 2020 and 2024. Concerns are arising as these funds are supporting radical professors who share their strong anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiments with students.

Lord God, we ask You to rein in the unchecked power of our federal agencies. We also ask You to protect our elections from any and all forms of interference. We pray for leaders who will be wise stewards of our money, and we ask You, Father, to keep taxpayer funds from ever going toward rogue ideologues who hate this nation. We pray all this in Your name.

In Georgia, a judge ruled that election officials must certify results, regardless of suspected fraud. Judge Robert McBurney clarified that while officials can investigate concerns, they cannot delay certification. The ruling comes after Julie Adams, a Fulton County Board member, sued over being denied a document request. It is unclear how this will impact this election.

Key Christian leaders hosted the ten-hour event, encouraging participants to return to worship and repentance—this successful event aimed to initiate powerful spiritual change and reclaim America through revival.

Mysterious drone activities over high-concentration national security facilities are raising serious questions about espionage and the vulnerabilities of the nation. Related to these activities, students of U.S. universities who are also Chinese nationals have been charged and convicted of using drones to photograph classified equipment. Prayers are needed for our leaders to respond wisely to this growing potential threat without disrupting public services and safety.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has reported a rising number of arrests of ‘Special Interest Aliens’ from high-risk nations. ‘Special Interest Aliens’ are non-citizens potentially linked to terrorist activities due to their travel patterns. President Biden recently extended executive orders recognizing national security threats from various nations. Let’s pray for protection from bad actors crossing our borders.

Our last story relates to the Iranian plot to assassinate Donald Trump. We also pray for the protection of President Trump and the leaders of our nation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Louisiana has recently reclassified abortion pills as “controlled substances.” The legislation, sponsored by Senator Thomas Pressly, aims to prevent the misuse of these drugs. Of course critics argue this move infringes on reproductive rights, but proponents want to ensure proper use of the medication.

Many are praying about the presidential election, and we must also pray about the U.S. Senate. The 2024 elections could completely change the Senate’s landscape. Crucial Senate races include West Virginia, Ohio, Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Finally, several California counties are reinstating mask mandates, notably in the San Francisco Bay Area. These rules mainly apply to healthcare workers, but some Bay Area counties are also extending the requirements to include visitors and patients.

We pray for proper regulation of the abortion pill, and we pray that more and more women will choose life rather than abortion. We pray for righteous leaders to be elected in the Senate. Lastly, we pray that our liberty not to wear a mask will be preserved. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Public schools nationwide are in crisis due to a massive increase in non-English speaking students, which puts undue pressure on school resources. The influx has surged almost 40% since 2021, correlating with the start of the Biden-Harris administration and the subsequent border crisis. This situation is hurting everyone in the education system.

America’s top high school allegedly sold vital intellectual property to China’s Communist Party. Virginia Governor Youngkin pledged an investigation into Fairfax County Public Schools. The School exchanged floor plans and curriculum for a so-called donation of only $3.6 million.

We pray for the communities and schools overwhelmed by mass migration and the leaders trying to solve the problem. We come against the influence of the CCP and pray that we will protect our valuable intellectual property. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Florida was covered in prayer as Hurricane Milton made landfall late Wednesday. Fierce winds and historic rainfall totals impacted much of the state. Places like Saint Lucie are dealing with tragic results, but Governor DeSantis said the storm “was not the worst-case scenario.” Power outages persist today, and survivors need our prayers.

In election news, Democrats are suggesting major changes to the Supreme Court. Proposed alterations include an 18-year term limit for justices and a binding code of ethical conduct. Some of the proposed changes would require amending the United States Constitution.

New polls show a surprising shift: more Americans identify as Republicans than Democrats. This GOP lead in party identification hasn’t been seen for over three decades. However, party affiliation doesn’t guarantee election success, as we have seen in the past.

We start with a good news story. The Colorado Supreme Court has dismissed a lawsuit against Christian baker, Jack Phillips, for his refusal to make a cake celebrating a trans-identified individual’s gender transition. The decision resulted from a 4-3 ruling, arguing that the discrimination claim was not processed correctly before filing the lawsuit. Although the ruling is unrelated to the merit of the discrimination claim or adherence to the First Amendment, the ruling has again safeguarded Phillips’ religious freedom, which is good.

In response to Hurricane Helene’s destruction and Hurricane Milton’s hitting Florida, Intercessors for America created a prayer wall where people can post prayer needs and intercede for each other. Go to IFApray.org to support those who are suffering.

Helene’s devastation has prompted significant revisions to North Carolina’s voting regulations. The emergency resolution passed by the state’s election board will modify voting rules for impacted western regions. Changes include voters submitting absentee ballots at Election Day polling places and extended opportunities to collect absentee ballots in person.

There is controversy about the use FEMA funds to aid illegal immigrants. Republicans are calling this out and criticizing it while the Biden administration denies it. Here are the facts. Over $640 million in federal grants were awarded to nonprofits providing help to undocumented immigrants. Both Republican and Democrat parties approved this budget deal.

Let’s pray. Father God, thank You for the ruling in favor of Jack Phillips, even though it wasn’t based on the merits. We pray that religious freedom will be established in Colorado and every state. We continue to pray for all those suffering from the impact of hurricanes. We pray for provision, peace, and protection. We pray that fair and legal voting will not be impeded. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hurricane Helene has brought devastation, and Christians are providing crucial comfort and relief. We are praying for revival to come through this tragedy. Still recovering from Hurricane Helene, Florida braces for another storm, Milton. Rapidly strengthening to a Category 5, Milton threatens Florida’s western coast. Preparations for evacuation have been encouraged as FEMA and state officials monitor the storm.

A year after the attack by Hamas on Israel, the nation remains engaged in conflicts on multiple fronts. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed a seven-fold front line including Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria, Judea and Samaria, and Tehran. Amidst the warfare and remembrance of lives lost, President Isaac Herzog undertook a three-day journey visiting affected military bases and communities, signifying both resilience and hope. We continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Finally, former county clerk Tina Peters received a nine-year prison sentence for granting unauthorized access to 2020 election equipment to election integrity investigators. Convicted in August, the charges stem from her use of another person’s security badge to provide access to check for election fraud. Peters, who has appeared on IFA prayer webcasts, maintains her innocence and that her actions were to maintain election integrity.

Let’s pray the words of Psalm 124. If the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, then they would have swallowed us alive. The water would have engulfed us; the torrent would have swept over us; the raging water would have swept over us. Blessed be the Lord. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Lord Jesus, make yourself known to the people in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, North Carolina, and other areas ravaged by Helene, as well as in the path of Hurricane Milton. May a revival spread in all these places. We pray in Jesus’ name.

Experts predict that the upcoming November elections may experience nationwide delays due to various factors, including differing state rules, ongoing litigation, and potential investigations over irregularities. This November, voters in Missouri and Arizona will decide on ballot initiatives seeking to expand definitions of ‘health,’ which could effectively legalize abortion on demand. These ‘health of the pregnant person’ clauses could block laws restricting abortion and leave health decisions to loosely defined ‘health care professionals’ instead of medical doctors. If approved, the measures could potentially allow for abortion at any stage if deemed beneficial to the mother’s physical or emotional health. IFA intercessors know that abortion harms women’s emotional health as well as ends a valuable human life. We pray for hearts and minds to change on abortion.

This rise is largely attributed to abortion-friendly states providing pills via telehealth care to patients in more restrictive areas.

Save them and bring your holy spirit in a mighty flood in this nation. Thank you for the inclusion of the Bible in Oklahoma education. We pray Your word would change lives and impact our nation. Detractors have misrepresented Project 2025, calling it a right-wing government takeover effort. President Trump has distanced himself from the effort. We recognize the devil’s schemes by the fear, misinformation, strife, fractions, divisions, and hatred being stirred up in ever greater measure. And we respond in prayer.

Father God, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. May Your will be done exposing the captors of the Israel hostages, the location of the children brought illegally over the border, and the strife in the election. We also ask for Your mercy in this heat wave. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What will this platform change mean, and how will it impact the election? Let’s pray. Lord God, Creator of all life, have mercy on us. May our leaders honor life.

Instill compassion in those around him to do what’s best for him as his cognitive health is evident.

Let’s pray about these headlines. Lord Jesus, we lift up the Republican party before You. As officials meet today and tomorrow, we pray they will develop a platform that honors You. We also thank You for how the Supreme Court’s rulings are already leading to answered prayer. Lastly, we lift Attorney General Bailey’s lawsuit against New York before You. Whatever happens in this lawsuit, we pray for Your will to be done.

The Texas Supreme Court recently upheld a ban barring medical professionals from performing sex-change operations or recommending hormonal treatments for minors. This decision was a response to Senate Bill 14, implemented last year. This is a huge step in protecting children nationwide from life-altering procedures, and we pray that it will set a strong precedent as other states take similar actions.

Following North Korea’s pact with Russia, South Korea is considering arming Ukraine. This major policy shift has been suggested in response to Russia and North Korea’s defense agreement. While South Korea has been providing humanitarian aid, it has not yet provided arms. Will an additional country’s involvement in the conflict bring us closer to a larger war?

Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Texas Supreme Court’s bold decision to protect kids. We ask You to empower more states to stand for our children. Additionally, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem according to Your word. Let the U.S. be a strong ally of Israel and be found blameless in Your sight. We also ask You to secure our border and protect us from all threats. Finally, we pray that You would strengthen Ukraine and show us how to support its people best.

Let’s pray. Father God, we ask today, in Jesus’ name, that You bless those in authority in America. Lord, but we pray that You shower them all with Your goodness which brings people to repentance. From the President to the humblest, most unknown worker in the land, let them cry out to You for mercy and salvation. And Father, for those who refuse to be saved and refuse to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that their days in office would be few and that another would take their office, according to Your will and Your plans only, Lord.

It is a big week for the Supreme Court. Today they will announce rulings on the Trump immunity case and January 6. Yesterday they published a ruling against the Securities and Exchange Commission’s use of in-house administrative courts. Defendants who face civil penalties must now receive a jury trial under the Seventh Amendment.

In another ruling, the Supreme Court returned Idaho v. United States to lower courts. Meanwhile, U.S. hospitals can continue to perform emergency abortions, even in states that enforce strict abortion bans. This provision encompasses cases where a woman’s life isn’t under immediate threat but she faces grave harm, including loss of fertility or mental harm. We are praying that states will continue to pass laws that protect the unborn.

Continuing with the topic of abortion, Planned Parenthood is set to invest tens of millions of dollars to support pro-abortion candidates in the upcoming election. With a planned expenditure of 40 million dollars on campaigns, the organization’s aim is to reelect President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats.

The Department of the Interior recently published a 24-page guide to ‘Inclusive Language.’ The guide advises bureaucrats to avoid so-called gendered terms like ‘son’, ‘daughter’, ‘husband’, and ‘wife’, instead recommending neutral terms like ‘they’, ‘them’, and ‘spouse’. This is just one example of how the current Administration is using tax dollars to promote progressive ideas.

Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, we pray for the Supreme Court to rule justly and wisely and for correction of rulings that are unwise and unconstitutional. We pray for hearts and minds to change on abortion and we pray that You would confuse and thwart the efforts of Planned Parenthood. We pray for Christians to lovingly share truth about Jesus and about how humans are image bearers of God. We pray that this truth would counteract all the lies in our culture. In Jesus’ name, amen.

In a landmark social media case, the Supreme Court ruled that plaintiffs accusing the Biden administration of pressuring social-media platforms to censor content lacked standing. The 6-3 decision, penned by Justice Amy Coney Barrett, stated the plaintiffs failed to prove they suffered direct or future harm. The dissent said that the Court unjustifiably refuses to address this serious threat to the First Amendment.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been released following a plea deal. Assange pled guilty to violating the Espionage Act and acknowledged publishing U.S. military secrets. He served 62 months in a London prison and is now permitted to return home to Australia.

In a recent development, reports indicate HHS Assistant Secretary and biological male Rachel Levine pushed the World Professional Association for Transgender Health to eliminate age guidelines for transgender treatments. The radical directive resulted in a change to the Standards of Care, removing minimum ages for medical transitions.

Let’s pray. Lord God, we pray for truth to prevail in tonight’s debate. We pray that plaintiffs with legal standing to sue would immediately bring a challenge to the Biden Administration collusion with social media companies to censor free speech. We pray that blind eyes would be opened about the evil of gender change. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The organization had challenged emergency authorization of vaccines for minors and the student vaccination mandate. The high court upheld lower court rulings that the organization did not have legal standing to sue.

In the center of a Medicare fraud case in Texas, there’s an unsettling connection between medical professionals, specifically Dr. Richard Ogden Roberts, and far-left activists. A whistleblower alleges Roberts’ unlawfully billed Medicaid for trans medical interventions. In question also is Roberts’ connection with pro-transgender organizations that receive funding from the pharmaceutical industry.

Finally, pro-transgender vandals recently targeted a “Take Back Title IX” tour bus with the slogan on it “Save Women’s Sports.” The bus, belonging to the Our Bodies, Our Sports coalition, was discovered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with slurs, crosses, and profane graffiti. Brianna Howard, the tour bus manager, said It’s crazy. We’re very disheartened by this happening, but it’s not going to discourage us. We’re going to keep pushing forward and spreading the message.

Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, we pray for justice for victims of deepfakes, for everyone who was harmed by the covid vaccine and mandates, for whistleblowers exposing medical mistreatment of children, and for the pro-women tour. We pray that citizens and leaders would recognize the truth about the cultural issues that are corrupting our nation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

This is why IFA launched PrayTheVote2024.org, where you can pray for Christians who haven’t voted in the last few elections to get out and vote biblical values.

Finally, former President Trump has suggested automatic green cards for international graduates of U.S. colleges. Some say this diverges from his prior views. Polls consistently show that immigration is a primary concern of voters.

Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, we pray about the recent actions of China, Russia, and North Korea. We pray that these nations would be used for your purposes and that you would give American leaders great wisdom in protecting U.S. interests. We pray that Christians would vote biblical values in record-breaking numbers and that our nation’s leaders would have divine wisdom to address immigration. In Jesus’ name, amen.
