Perry Stone Reveals a Vision of an Attack on Iran – Charisma News

In a recent YouTube video, biblical scholar and minister Perry Stone describes a vision that he believes points to a prophetic confrontation involving Iran, the biblical land of Persia. Stone’s vision, along with his interpretation of scriptural prophecies, weaves together modern-day events and ancient biblical texts to present a startling picture of potential conflicts ahead in the Middle East. His message centers on Iran’s historical and spiritual role in the prophecies of Ezekiel, particularly those involving the foreboding “Gog and Magog” war.

In his teaching, Stone begins by situating Iran in its ancient biblical context. Though known today as Iran, the region was historically called Persia, a name deeply rooted in the Bible. “Persia is mentioned 29 times in the Old Testament,” he says, highlighting how its role in prophecy stretches back millennia. According to Stone, Persia’s historical ties to warfare and conquest, especially as part of the ancient Medo-Persian Empire, connect it to “a major land invasion” that Ezekiel describes in chapters 38 and 39 of his writings. In this future event, Persia, along with a coalition of other nations, rises against Israel.

While Stone remains cautious about making exact predictions, he recounts a vision of events he feels could unfold concerning Iran’s nuclear ambitions. “I saw cooling towers that were spinning,” he explains, adding that dead trees in the vision seemed to signify economic or ecological consequences. Stone links this imagery to growing tensions over Iran’s nuclear program, which has long been a point of contention in the region. “I began to wonder, would this be some type of an attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities?” he asks.

Stone’s vision also includes a striking image of coastal storage facilities, which he compares to the oil storage tanks seen near Houston. In his vision, this area is impacted by a weapon that causes an electromagnetic disruption, something he describes as an “electromagnetic pulse bomb.” He believes such an attack could severely hamper Iran’s oil production and economic power, destabilizing a key source of revenue for the nation. This could cut off funds for military pursuits and proxies, a critical factor in the nation’s regional influence.

The timing of these events remains uncertain, and Stone acknowledges the limits of his knowledge. “I wish I could answer that,” he admits, noting that this vision might align with or precede the prophesied Gog and Magog war. In Ezekiel’s prophecy, this conflict sees Persia allied with nations like Libya and Ethiopia in a ground assault on Israel, descending “like a storm cloud upon the mountain of Israel.” Stone warns that Iran and its allies “will come like a cloud by land,” believing that a coalition of nations hostile to Israel will mount a large-scale invasion from the north.

Despite the military focus of his visions, Stone suggests that Israel’s technological and air defense capabilities will be formidable obstacles for any adversary. “Israel’s got one of the top Air Forces in the world,” he says, adding that the nation’s advanced drone and defense systems present significant hurdles to Iran or any coalition trying to strike Israel from the air.

Stone’s message ultimately points toward a need for discernment and preparation, highlighting the biblical importance of recognizing the signs of the times. While he stops short of assigning exact dates, Stone’s visions and his interpretation of Scripture draw attention to the reality that prophetic events could soon manifest in the geopolitical realities of the Middle East.

In the end, Stone’s account reflects a broader biblical command—watching and discerning the signs of the times. The words of Jesus urges readers to be vigilant, recognizing the unfolding of prophecy in world events. Stone’s vision of Iran serves as a reminder of this call, inviting believers to remain spiritually aware and grounded in the Word of God as we navigate a world seemingly on the brink of fulfilling end times prophecies.
