Former President Donald J. Trump delivered a powerful rally-style speech on Sunday at Turning Point Action’s America Fest convention in Phoenix, marking his return to the city following his historic election victory on November 5.
The event drew thousands of supporters, with many lining up outside the Phoenix Convention Center hours before sunrise to see the President-elect speak.
Introduced by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Trump took the stage to overwhelming applause, following a dramatic video montage recounting the challenges and triumphs of his campaign.
The presentation highlighted key moments, from legal battles with the Biden administration to his landslide victory in November, where he secured 312 electoral votes, the popular vote, and regained control of both chambers of Congress.
“All of you have worked so hard to get back into the White House in this state. This is the best-performing swing state with a five-and-a-half-point victory,” said Kirk.
“We have all 50 states represented here in this grassroots movement of the greatest American comeback in the history of our country. I truly believe that President Trump, throughout these last couple of years, overcoming all these odds is one of the greatest stories ever told, and let’s just say, Thank you, God, for giving us Donald Trump and giving our country back,” he continued.
Trump’s address at AmFest is expected to be his final major speech before his inauguration on January 20, 2025, marking him as the second president in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms. The event served as both a celebration of his victory and a call to action for supporters as he prepares to lead the nation again.
