Searches about a Jesus statue at the White House have been trending online after videos emerged of a 200-foot statue of Jesus Christ purportedly being installed under the Trump administration. While those videos are fake, reports about a money-covered goat with golden hooves being on display at Trump’s Mar-a-Largo Club are true.
Lead Stories reports on the two viral TikTok videos of a Jesus statue at the White House:
Do two viral videos authentically show a 200-foot statue of Jesus Christ being placed on the grounds of the White House in Washington? No, that’s not true: Both videos were possibly generated using AI according to online detection tools, and a live webcam of the White House shows no such statue. Details in the videos, such as the number of floors and windows of the “White House” seen in the background, also didn’t match reality, pointing to an AI-generated origin.
The TikTok user, dubbed SpecaturalInsights, claims to be “spreading the light of Jesus through faith-filled content” yet appears to be doing so through disingenuous means, according to Lead Stories’ breakdown of the videos.
@spectacularsights A first look at the 200-foot statue of Jesus being risen on the White House lawn. A bold reminder that no matter who sits in office, Christ is King! As this monument takes shape, let it be a symbol that faith is the foundation of this nation. Imagine standing before it, looking up at His presence over our capital—powerful, unshakable, eternal. #JesusOverAmerica #OneNationUnderGod #FaithInTheWhiteHouse #JesusLovesYou #ChristianUnity #GodsPlan #PraiseTheLord #ChristianPatriot #ChristIsKing #FaithOverPolitics #RevivalComing #AmericaForJesus #HolyMonument #FaithOverFear #ChristianCommunity ♬ original sound – OnlyByYourGraceJesus – Nat ✞
While some Christians on social media appeared overjoyed at the idea of a statue of Jesus Christ being installed under Trump at the White House, some were perplexed by reports of a mammon-like goat on display at the Republican president’s Palm Beach, Florida, club.
If that claim sounds too good to be true, it isn’t.
According to Snopes.com:
In February 2025, several weeks after U.S. President Donald Trump took office for his second term, a rumor began to spread that a statue of a goat that had golden hooves and was covered in $100 bills featuring Trump’s face was on display at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida.
Verifying the golden-hoofed idol, Snopes writes: “The goat is real and is part of a project known as Project G.O.A.T., which stands for Global Offensive Against Trafficking.”
At Mar-a-Lago, a bizarre, golden-hoofed goat idol is on display.
The idol is wrapped in Trump $100 bills that say, “In Trump we Trust,” replacing God with Trump.

The goat, covered in $100 bills with Trump’s face, is reportedly being auctioned off by a Florida nonprofit on February 27 to “to spread awareness to fight and prevent human trafficking & sexual exploitation of children.”
It remains to be seen who will vie to purchase the goat statue cover with fake bills that replace “In God We Trust” with “In Trump We Trust.”
