Across the country, the LGBTQ lobby is pushing for laws that make it impossible for people suffering from same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria to get professional help. Does that surprise you? It’s true. California and Colorado have already passed constitutionally dubious laws that punish therapists who try to help clients who wish to diminish same-sex attractions or gender confusion, even if that’s what they choose based on their sincere religious beliefs. The only therapy it’s legal to offer in such states is the kind that “affirms” the very disorders that trouble them.
