President Trump has changed his tune on the Epstein files. As recently as September, the President was labeling the Epstein controversy a Democrat hoax and attacking the Republicans voting to release the files. Now, however, President Trump is calling on House Republicans to vote to release the Epstein files once and for all.

President Donald Trump is calling on House Republicans to vote to release files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, insisting he has “nothing to hide” and accusing Democrats of using the case as a distraction from GOP accomplishments.
In a Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump urged House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing the documents, describing the controversy as a “Democrat hoax perpetrated by radical left lunatics.”
“As I said on Friday night aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown,’” Trump wrote.
As evidence of his administration’s commitment to transparency, the President highlighted the Department of Justice’s previous released of thousands of pages of Epstein documents. He also pointed out that if the Democrats did have anything that would incriminate him, they would have released it before last year’s election.
The President also accused Democrats of using the Epstein controversy to distract from his administration’s many wins. In his Truth Social post, he cited the end of the government shutdown, the economy, and the border as examples of victories achieved under his leadership.
This is a sharp departure from President Trump’s previous stance on Epstein. His administration has faced criticism over its handling of Epstein for months now, and the President himself has been accused of seeking to hide incriminating information. In early September, we covered his attacks on Representatives Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republicans who pushed previously for the full release of the files.
What could have caused this change? For now, let’s pray for full transparency and justice, and let’s pray that the truth wouldn’t be obscured or manipulated in the name of political games!
