For years now, we have watched globalism fester as our leaders have ceded power to massive international organizations. Recently, however, President Trump took strong action against globalism, pulling U.S. funding out of 66 globalist organizations.

The Trump administration announced Wednesday it’s taking U.S. taxpayer dollars away from 66 globalist organizations, nearly half of them affiliated with the United Nations and all of which are identified as “contrary to the interests of the United States.”
Most notable is the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the parent treaty underpinning all major international climate agreements, AFP reports.
The treaty adopted in 1992 is a global pact by nations to cooperate to drive down planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts of so-called “climate change.”
Breitbart notes that President Trump’s decision to defund the UNFCCC will affect several “climate-related organizations,” including the International Renewable Energy Agency and UN Oceans. This comes after a year of the President throwing “the full weight of his domestic policy behind fossil fuels,” going as far as to call climate change a “hoax.”
In both of his terms in office, the President has been remarkably hard on globalism. Breitbart notes that he withdrew the United States from the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in his first term. Although Biden reversed these decisions, President Trump made them once again shortly after his inauguration last year.
As intercessors, we know that globalism is not what the Lord wants for America. Let’s thank God for giving us a President who understands the dangers of this ideology, and let’s pray for him as he works to protect us!
