💛💙 What we thank God for:
• The leaders of the Christian churches of Ukraine have issued a statement in which they strongly condemned Russia’s latest attempts to use religion and religious institutions to justify its aggressive policy against Ukraine. They also called on all Christians to continue praying for the victory of truth and the establishment of a just peace in Ukraine and in the world. May the Lord bless the peacemaking efforts of everyone who serves as a witness to His truth with words and deeds.
• The pace of the Russian army’s advance has fallen sharply. The enemy’s advance in the Zaporizhia and Lyman directions has completely stopped last week. And in the Kherson region, our military has driven the Russian occupiers from Aleksiyivskyi Island.
• We are thankful for every prayer, because these are someone’s saved lives or homes. The other day, fragments of an Iskander-M ballistic missile with a warhead weighing about half a ton fell near residential buildings and a gas station in one of the districts of Kyiv. And they did not explode. Sappers have rendered the ammunition safe.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 3 tanks, 1 armored combat vehicle, and 147 units of automotive equipment.
‼️ Threats remain:
• Russian invaders have struck energy facilities in two regions of Ukraine. They damaged an observatory in Odessa.
• The Russians have intensified strikes on the Kherson CHP, trying to deprive the station of the opportunity to restore its equipment. The heat situation in Kherson is one of the most critical.
• As a result of the attack by Russian invaders in the capital of Ukraine, the objects of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra national reserve, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, were damaged.
• Poland complained to the EU Council about agricultural imports from Ukraine. Four countries demand protection of European farmers from the “negative impact” of imports of Ukrainian agricultural products.
• In Sumy region, Russians are remotely mining territories by dropping explosives from drones.
🙏 Prayer needs:
• As intercessors, we do not tire of praying for our country, which is currently experiencing one of the most difficult periods of its existence. We pray with faith that the Lord will preserve us, leading us through these trials.
• We pray for the search for internal resources to direct them to the defense of the country, the establishment of various processes within Ukraine to strengthen its defense capabilities. For the rise of strong leaders, statesmen, who would truly care for the country and realize their responsibility before God.
• We pray for God’s protection over our soldiers. For wisdom for commanders. We pray for the president, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the heads of security agencies. May all their actions be coordinated and balanced.
• We pray for the growth of business activity and economic indicators in Ukraine, for the reduction of security risks for business, the restoration of the labor market. For financial support for business. For minimizing the impact of the energy crisis on business.
• We pray for the growth of living standards in Ukraine, for the reduction of the number of poor people. We also pray for the growth of employment, the emergence of new jobs.
• We pray for the growth of influential church leaders who, obeying Christ first and foremost, would lead and serve people in the difficult conditions of global changes. For balance in these ministries, for understanding the times in which we live, for belonging in everything to Christ.
«In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.»

❤️ What we thank God for:
• As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, interfaith prayer meetings are held in various cities of Ukraine. In the Epistle to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul noted the deep unity that unites the Church throughout the world. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit initiated the mission of the Church to proclaim the Gospel to people all over the world, regardless of the ethnic, social or cultural boundaries that separate them. The same Spirit strengthens us today.
• Ukrainian Air Defense intercepted 15 missiles and over 350 drones.
• During the meeting of the “energy Ramstein” in the G7+ format, the partners decided to support Ukraine against the backdrop of massive attacks by Russia on the country’s energy system.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 4 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, and 88 units of automotive equipment.
⚡️ Threats remain:
• The main target of Russia’s night attack was again energy. The occupiers hit Kyiv and the region. In the capital, almost 6 thousand houses were left without heating. Almost all of Chernihiv was cut off.
• The balancing electricity market in Ukraine has found itself in a deep debt crisis, which is already directly affecting the investment attractiveness of the industry. Debt in this segment has grown to tens of billions of hryvnias and continues to accumulate.
🙏 Prayer needs:
• We pray for agreements to be reached to stop attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. According to experts, Ukraine is approaching a humanitarian catastrophe due to constant Russian attacks, and the restoration of the energy sector is estimated at 65-70 billion dollars, which will require the construction of a new energy system.
• We pray for the President of Ukraine and other people in power, because this is the Lord’s command. We pray that these people will turn to Christ, have the fear of God in their hearts, that they will be doers of God’s will, realizing their responsibility before Him.
• We pray that the Lord will help us survive this winter. We pray for those people whose homes have become cold and uninhabitable. For finding alternative options, for local authorities to resolve these extremely complex issues.
• We pray for our chaplains, for an increase in their number, so that they can be spiritual mentors for our defenders. And also for the development of a volunteer movement of chaplains aimed at helping military families and providing spiritual support to the families of defenders.
• We pray for our churches, brothers and sisters in Ukraine and beyond. Today, when our country and the world are facing trials, we need patience, courage and faith more than ever. We ask the Lord to strengthen, guide us in His ways and to help us.
«The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.»
Psalms 145:18-19 NIV

🌻 What we thank God for:
• We thank God for equipping His Church with the necessary spiritual weapons, so that at this time we can resist the wiles of the devil, against evil spirits in the heavenly realms. And not only resist, but also change the spiritual atmosphere in our country.
• 100 million tons of grain have already been transported through the Ukrainian sea corridor. Exports continue despite Russia’s systematic attacks on ports, logistics and energy.
• The government has simplified the sale of sanctioned assets of Russians that are state-owned.
• The European Union will equip Ukraine with 447 emergency generators from its strategic reserves amid Russia’s massive attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.

💥 Threats remain:
• Russia attacked Ukraine with over 100 drones.

• Russia does not stop hitting energy facilities. Again there are new power outages in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. Emergency shutdowns in many regions of Ukraine. In addition, the situation in the energy system has become more complicated, as several generation facilities have been put into emergency repair.
🙏 Prayer needs:
• We pray for the negotiation processes in Abu Dhabi that are taking place these days. For the approach to the end of this war and the cessation of bloodshed and the destruction of our cities and villages. May the Lord guide and give wisdom to our negotiators.
• We pray for an additional impetus to the economic development of Ukraine. For support for the real sector of the economy, i.e. strategically important industries, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
• Our prayer is for the Ukrainian defenders. For those who left the comfort of home and their families so that we can have hope for tomorrow. We bless each warrior, may the Lord preserve them, so that they return to peaceful affairs, so that they may know Christ.
• In 2025, almost half a million deaths were recorded in Ukraine, and only 168.8 thousand babies were born. Thus, there were three deaths for every newborn. We pray for an increase in the birth rate, and especially for the creation of appropriate conditions for this in our country. For the operation of real programs to help families in this difficult time.
• We pray for the youth of Ukraine, that opportunities for education and development will open up for them, that they will be interested in staying in their country and raising it from the ruins. That they will be people with God’s fire and truth in their hearts, who know God and strive to do good.
• We pray that the Church at this time will loudly proclaim Christ, reconcile people with God. We pray that His children will guard their hearts and will be strengthened in God’s love.
«Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.»

In the conditions of a full-scale war, this holiday has acquired special significance: unity today is perceived as the basis of stability, resistance and survival of the Ukrainian people. Let us pray together for Ukrainian territorial, spiritual and cultural unity which Russia is trying to destroy at all costs. And also for faith in God, love for the native Land, family to form the spiritual foundation of unity of our nation.

🇺🇦 What we thank God for:
• We thank God for a deeper understanding of the need to pray, to be intercessors for our country, families and churches. For the fact that prayer meetings are increasingly gathering both at high state levels and everywhere in our country.
• Air defense forces neutralized 126 of 145 Russian drones.

• We pray that the Russian occupiers will not succeed in implementing their criminal plan to use sub-zero temperatures to disable our energy infrastructure. So that state structures are ready for different options and have a clearly developed algorithm of actions. So that the aggressors stop massive strikes on critical infrastructure facilities, and industry specialists can systematically reconstruct everything that was damaged and stabilize electricity supply.
• Let us not be silent in prayer for the soldiers on the front line. We pray for them, we bless them, so that the Lord will strengthen, guide and protect.
• We pray for those people who are in despair, depressed, who have hopelessness in their hearts, who cannot cope with their emotions and have spiritual wounds. May the Lord help them in this darkness to find Him and give Him their problems and pains, because He cares for everyone and answers everyone who calls on Him.
• Let us also pray for the wounded and crippled by war. May the Lord heal, may His love give hope. It is written in the Book of Psalms: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (147:3). May the hearts of people be filled with faith in the Lord.

💛💙 What we thank God for:
• The presentation of the first complete Ukrainian edition of the Jerusalem Bible took place in Kyiv. This is one of the most authoritative Catholic biblical projects of the 20th century, which combines the translation of the Holy Scriptures with a thorough scientific and theological apparatus. The presented edition is considered an important tool for bishops, priests, theologians, catechists, teachers and students, as well as for all believers who seek a deeper knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. In the conditions of war, the appearance of the complete Jerusalem Bible in the Ukrainian language became not only a scientific, but also a spiritual event of national importance.
• Ukrainian military successfully destroyed a modified enemy drone, which the Russian occupiers equipped with an air-to-air missile. In addition, they hit Russian air defense systems and a drone depot in the occupied Crimea.

• The occupiers struck a critical infrastructure facility in Kharkiv. It caused very significant damage.
• The Russian occupiers struck one of the Naftogaz enterprises. These are targeted strikes on civilian infrastructure to leave Ukrainians without heat and gas in the cold season.

• Russia is postponing the implementation of agreements on the mutual release of prisoners of war reached at the end of 2025.
🙏 Prayer needs:
• Our intelligence warns that Russia is planning a series of strikes on substations of Ukrainian nuclear power plants. The aim of the attacks is to completely disrupt the energy system in order to leave the country without heat and light in the middle of winter. Dear intercessors, let us pray that the enemy’s plans will not be implemented, that God will help to avert this serious threat and prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.
• We pray for those people who were left without heating after the enemy attacks. For prompt intervention and providing people with immediate assistance. That all the equipment that was provided as international aid would be used for its intended purpose.
• We pray for our soldiers who, in extremely difficult conditions of cold, hold their positions and oppose the enemy. We bless them, we pray for God’s protection and timely God’s help.
• We pray for the chaplains, for their ministry. May the Lord fill them with strength, so that through them souls may be saved, bodies may be healed, supernatural miracles may occur, so that the Name of God may be glorified.
• We pray for the resumption of the exchange of prisoners of war, for the intervention of third parties to influence the Russian side, which does not want to fulfill the agreements and is delaying this process. Let us support in prayer the Ukrainians who are waiting for their liberation.
• We pray for the Church in Ukraine which serves people, revealing the character and purity of Christ, which is a place of God’s love and hope in this shaky world.

• Our border guards prevented the occupiers from breaking through the state border in the Kharkiv region.
• A headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of Russian shelling of energy facilities has been created in Kyiv. Its task is to respond promptly and effectively to current challenges in order to stabilize the situation with energy and heat supply.

• Law enforcement officers have gathered the necessary evidence base, which confirms that the Russian attacks on energy are a consistent policy of the Kremlin, aimed at the destruction of the Ukrainian people, and have signs of crimes against humanity.
🙏 Prayer needs:
• We pray for an end to this war. That various forces do not use Ukraine as a training ground to achieve their own interests. We pray for the strengthening of the influence of world leaders who would silence the voices about the continuation of the war and the destruction of this country.
• The highest-level Ukrainian delegation will participate in the forum in Davos. The delegation’s focus will be on the reconstruction of Ukraine, its stability, protection of energy and security guarantees. As usual, we pray for important events and for the successful course of this meeting.
• The head of the IMF arrived on a visit to Kyiv for high-level negotiations. We pray for the course of these negotiations, for the coordination of problematic issues, for the continuation of financial support for Ukraine.
• We pray for the reduction of the offensive capabilities of the Russian army, for the destruction of the logistical and warehouse infrastructure and for the prevention of the supply of resources and reserves of the enemy to the forefront of the front.
• We pray for our soldiers who are holding back the enemy invasion and defending our country. For God’s support for them in this cold season. May they be warmed by God, may the necessary help always come in time.
• We pray for our brothers and sisters from different churches, that each of them may daily seek the living God and hold on to Him. That they may strengthen their personal relationship with the Lord. We pray for a deeper devotion to Christ and life in His truth.

«Therefore, my brothers and sisters…stand firm in the Lord in this way…Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.»
