(LifeSiteNews) — Reports predicting the reinstatement of lockdowns and COVID protocols within the next few months have emerged as health officials share concerns about new COVID variants.
Maverick journalist Alex Jones shared on Friday that two U.S. federal government employees independently confirmed to him that COVID “protocols” are planned to be enforced by mid-September in response to a new COVID variant.
Jones reported that a “high-level manager” in the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) told him that policy is now being written to mandate mask-wearing within airports by mid-September, masking on airplanes by the middle of October, and the “full COVID protocol” of 2020 and 2021 by December.
The TSA source reportedly shared that a new COVID variant emerging in Canada was cited as the rationale behind the planned policies. Last week, Canada’s Department of Health announced that COVID-19 Omicron subvariant EG.5, declared a variant of interest by the World Health Organization (WHO), has been detected in the province of New Brunswick.
After speaking with this whistleblower, Jones contacted another “federal connection” to share this report. This second source likewise told Jones he had learned of plans to roll out COVID protocols by mid-September, due to the belief that the new COVID variant is basically “super bad.”
While health organizations and the mainstream media have recently reported the emergence of new COVID variants, the new strains are not said to be any more dangerous than recent Omicron strains of COVID-19. The South African doctor who identified the omicron variant admitted that it causes “extremely mild” symptoms.
On August 9, when declaring EG.5 a “variant of interest” that is “circulating in every country,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO’s Technical Lead for COVID-19, called upon countries to continue to sequence the variant to assist with regular “risk evaluations” of the virus, but said that, thus far, the variant was not any more severe than other Omicron variants.
Former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who sits on the board of Pfizer, told “Face the Nation” yesterday that virologists are “pretty concerned” about another new COVID variant, BA 2.86, that has been recently identified in Michigan as well as in the U.K., Denmark, and Israel.
However, Gottlieb admitted that “it doesn’t appear to be more dangerous” than other strains, only speculating that it could be more transmissible than currently circulating strains.
He went on to share that a booster shot is being created by Pfizer, Moderna, and Novavax that is expected to “protect against” new COVID variants and to be made available to the public in mid-September.
Gottlieb claimed that EG.5 is one of the current top two viruses “causing most infections,” because of a mutation that he said allows it to “pierce the immunity that we’ve acquired from prior infections and also prior vaccinations.”
Last week, Russian news outlet Tass reported that the U.S. may be deliberately using pathogens in order to help implement global government, according to a Russian defense official.
“We do not rule out the United States may use so-called defensive technologies for offensive purposes, as well as for global governance by creating crisis situations of biological nature,” said Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force.
Jones warned during his report that more lockdowns would destroy small businesses, put people into bankruptcy, and lead to deaths in the third world, as the previous COVID lockdowns did.
He speculated that the timing of the predicted coming lockdowns would be used to help enable mail-in ballot fraud during the U.S. 2024 presidential election.
“We do not have to sit here and take the same criminal…new world order regime’s second roll out of lockdowns and attempts at forced injections and travel restrictions and being told you’re non-essential,” said Jones.
“We don’t have to lay down and die,” he continued, emphasizing that while he believes lockdowns are planned, we should not see them as inevitable, if only we resist them.
