Disbarred lawyer sues Canadian politicians, gov’t officials who canceled her for COVID jab skepticism – LifeSite

(LifeSiteNews) – A Canadian lawyer disbarred for speaking critically of COVID shots launched a class-action lawsuit against multiple former and current high-level Canadian politicians and health officials, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford, for promoting “safe and effective” COVID shots.

The lawyer, Gloriane Blais from Quebec, as per a Canadian Independent report, has more than 20 years of experience in civil liability and medical malpractice. She holds a graduate degree in health law and policies from Sherbrooke University.

On March 27, 2024, she filed an application to be allowed to launch a class action lawsuit against current and former politicians and health officials, in their “private capacities” regarding their messaging claiming the mRNA COVID shots, which are now known to cause many bad side effects, were “safe and effective.”

Her 180-page lawsuit, which can be read here, includes a large number of exhibits that show both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) evaluations of the COVID jabs clinical trial data.

Listed as defendants in her lawsuit are Trudeau, former Liberal Ministers of Health Jean-Yves Duclos and Patty Hajdu, current Liberal Minister of Health Mark Holland, Ford, and former Ontario Deputy Premier and Minister of Health Christine Elliott. Also listed are Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston, former Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs, Newfoundland Premier Andrew Furey, and many more people.

In total, Blais has spent $9,000 to have bailiffs serve the 35 politicians as well as minister defendants nationwide. She has also spent $2,000 in filing fees.

Once a hearing has been completed after all parties have been served, a judge will look at whether her class action can proceed.

Blais was critical of the COVID jabs on social media in the spring of 2021 and was particularly concerned about their safety as well as effectiveness. In October 2021, she took on an appeals case for a father who was against his former wife getting his kids the COVID shots. The courts ruled in favor of the mother.

It was shortly after this case, in March 2022, that she was disbarred by the Bar of Quebec, after having been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation without a hearing.

Blais alleges that her outspokenness on social media and her involvement in the father’s appeal case is what led to her disbarment.

She mentioned, as per the Canadian Independent, that even though her law license has been revoked, she still has “important work” to do.

She noted that the reason she is suing the multiple politicians and health ministers in their private capacities is because this way, they cannot, and least in theory, pass along the legal bills to the taxpayer, and must fund their defense out of pocket.

Blais claims that politicians saying the COVID jabs were “safe and effective” was nothing more than a large “lie.”

COVID vaccine mandates, which came from provincial governments with the support of Trudeau’s federal government, split Canadian society. The mRNA shots themselves have been linked to a multitude of negative and often severe side effects in children.

Last year, LifeSiteNews reported on how the details of the Canadian federal government’s COVID-19 vaccine contract with Pfizer for millions of doses of the mRNA-based experimental shots were recently disclosed after being hidden for over three years.

The contract with Pfizer shows the government agreed to accept the unknown long-term safety and efficacy of the shots. The details of the Pfizer contract do not disclose how much the government spent on the jabs.

Throughout most of the COVID crisis, Canadians from coast to coast were faced with COVID mandates, including jab dictates, put in place by both the provincial and federal governments.

After much pushback, thanks to the Freedom Convoy, most provincial mandates were eliminated by the summer of 2022.

Earlier this week, LifeSiteNews reported how Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) to compensate those injured by the COVID vaccines has now spent $14 million, but the vast majority of claims remain unpaid.

LifeSiteNews has published an extensive amount of research on the dangers of receiving the experimental COVID mRNA jabs, which include heart damage and blood clots.

The mRNA shots have also been linked to a multitude of negative and often severe side effects in children.
