(June 13, 2023 – Fredericksburg, Virginia) An organization with more than $2.7 billion in assets and $1.9 billion in revenue, per its most recent annual report, Planned Parenthood’s own figures expose the abortion giant’s executives as among America’s richest, based on their compensation. A newly released report from the American Life League, The STOPP International 2023 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation releases the salaries of the leaders of all the abortion vendor’s affiliates, along with those of the top paid employees at the organization’s headquarters, Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

American Life League’s STOPP International, the only organization solely dedicated to serving as a watchdog on Planned Parenthood, has performed extensive research into the abortion conglomerate. Its analysis shows that this abortion empire, classified by the Internal Revenue Service as not-for-profit, is earning its executives big bucks.

American Life League Director of Communications Katie Brown observed that Planned Parenthood, which received $670.4 million in taxpayer money, cumulatively paid its Planned Parenthood affiliate CEOs $16.8 million in 2020, averaging more than $317,000, per its most recent available numbers. By contrast, Brown noted that compensation analyst Salary.com lists the average salary for CEOs of U.S. nonprofits as $184,809.

As Planned Parenthood executives pull in their six figure salaries, Brown shared that those targeted with its abortion services are typically the poorest. She cited the abortion vendor’s own admission that 70% of their clientele who report their income, have an annual household income of under $40,000.

Brown also pointed to the rampant racism and compensation inequity depicted in Planned Parenthood’s CEO salaries.

“The research revealed in the 2023 report from American Life League’s STOPP International makes it clear that the top salaries go to white executives,” stated Brown.

The STOPP International report highlights the following facts:

• The highest paid Planned Parenthood CEO is a White woman, pulling down $616,926 in 2020.
• The second and third place top earners at Planned Parenthood are White men, with salaries of $592,432 and $570,726.
• The lowest paid of the 53 affiliate CEOs was a Black woman who was paid $124,045.
• Out of 53 Planned Parenthood affiliate CEOs, only four were Black, and three were identified as Hispanic, making for a mere 13% of people of color in executive positions.

“It’s disingenuous that in Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report they claim to be committed to breaking down ‘barriers of structural racism that block access to care’,” Brown remarked, “when they so obviously haven’t done so in their own organization.”

Brown credited STOPP International Interim Director Rita Diller with overseeing the research and analysis that went into the report.

“If there’s one thing that this report makes clear,” shared Brown, “it is proof that at Planned Parenthood the rich get richer — while the poor get abortions.”
