According to a Brownstone Institute report that is casting doubt on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) data integrity, the agency has allegedly altered some death certificates in Minnesota, eliminating references to “COVID vaccine” as a cause of death.

These allegations have been advanced by an undisclosed source and have led the Brownstone Institute to label the CDC as the “Centers for Data Concealment.”

The informant, whose identity remains undisclosed for understandable reasons, reportedly managed to access Minnesota’s complete death certificate records dating back to 2015.

The Institute’s Aaron Hertzberg offers a comprehensive analysis of this issue in his report.

He thoroughly examines the bureaucratic process of filling out death certificates across the country, established by the federal government.

He explains that local coroners provide the cause or causes of death (CoD) on these certificates.

Subsequently, the CDC assigns an International Classification of Diseases (ICD 10) code to the stated CoD.

This code encompasses a wide variety of circumstances, from incidents involving winter sports equipment to more bizarre events.

Hertzberg underscores a significant detail: “The person filling out the death certificate writes a text description of the CoD’s, but doesn’t assign the ICD 10 codes for the CoD’s.”

These codes are usually assigned by an undisclosed algorithm, but in a small percentage of cases, CDC staff may decide the codes if the algorithm fails to assign one confidently.

The crux of the matter involves ICD 10 codes T88.1 and Y59.0, which stand for “Other complications following immunization, not elsewhere classified,” and “Viral vaccines,” respectively.

In the trove of Minnesota’s death certificates, three were found to contain either T88.1 or Y59.0.

Interestingly, one referred to a flu vaccine reaction while the other two to a COVID vaccine.

The source unveiled that the CDC allegedly either removed or declined to include the T88.1 or Y59.0 IDC codes from Minnesota death certificates that identified the cause of death as complications from the COVID vaccine.

According to Hertzberg, “In almost every death certificate that identifies a COVID vaccine as a cause of death, the CDC committed data fraud by not assigning the ICD 10 code for vaccine side effects to the causes of death listed on the death certificate.”

The report mentions only nine such modified death certificates, which is a relatively small number considering the widespread adult vaccination during the reported period.

Nevertheless, this issue is significant because it suggests that public officials might go to considerable lengths to suppress data that challenge the mainstream narrative.
