(LifeSiteNews) –– The legal counsel for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) failed to disqualify renowned American cardiologist and COVID-19 vaccine specialist Dr. Peter McCullough as a witness in its trial against Canadian Dr. Mark Trozzi.

The trial, held due to Trozzi’s outspokenness against the COVID-19 vaccines and associated government mandates, resumed on Tuesday of this week, however, main defense witness Dr. Paul Alexander was not able to attend the hearing on that day due to family issues.  

With McCullough testifying on behalf of Trozzi, the hearing held on Wednesday by the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal (OPSDT) became intense at times, which from start to finish lasted six hours including long prolonged breaks. 

Legal counsel for the CPSO led by Emily Graham tried, after over two hours into the meeting, to have McCullough barred as a witness, claiming he was not qualified to be an expert observer.   

During the hearing, Graham played before the panel numerous video clips of McCullough, all posted online, of him speaking out against the COVID jabs at various times over the past few years. 

McCullough repeatedly objected to being asked to explain his speaking in numerous videos questioning the COVID jabs, including one with podcaster Joe Rogan. He blasted Graham for not getting to any “substantive” questions well over two hours into the hearing.  

Graham claimed that McCullough should be kicked out as an “expert witness,” due to his objection to how colleges such as the CPSO work with its doctors, and his outspokenness against the COVID shots.  

She claimed that he lacked the independence and objectivity to be an “expert witness,” by what he showed as evidence and “conduct” before the panel. 

Trozzi’s lawyer Michael Alexander argued that any threshold for McCullough to be disqualified as a witness was not sufficient.  

The fact, argued Alexander, that McCullough knows Trozzi does not automatically render “the evidence” he has given as a witness “as inadmissible.” 

Alexander also noted that excluding a witness from testifying before the college simply because they disagree with them goes against the very idea of “expert” witnesses in the first place. 

After some back and forth, the OPSDT panel took a prolonged break to discuss whether to disqualify McCullough.  

When the panel came back, it ruled against Graham’s request to have McCullough disqualified and said he could stay on as an expert witness. 

Trozzi pleased McCullough was accepted as a witness  

In comments sent to LifeSiteNews, Trozzi noted that the CPSO was “unable to disqualify one of the most qualified medical scientists on Earth.” 

“Though they sure tried and were extremely rude and uncivilized,” he continued, “Peter was ‘accepted’ as an expert.” 

McCullough has been one of the most vocal critics against the harms seen by the COVID shots and for a few years now has been considered by many to be an expert on combating the mainstream narrative surrounding the virus. 

Trozzi said about his trial with the CPSO that “I face charges for warning you and sharing science and thoughts that oppose the last three years of fraud and crimes against humanity committed in the names of ‘COVID and our health’.”  

Trozzi’s lawyer Alexander said recently that he remains confident that despite having a “biased” adjudicator, he will be able to “prove” that the CPSO has been proceeding against his client “without having the law or COVID-19 science on its side.” 

Trozzi’s seven-day tribunal hearing is part of the CPSO’s efforts to “try and take away” his medical license, he argued, because he took a stand against the COVID narrative and “the global agenda being carried out [by] the WHO, a conduit of criminal control that’s rolled out through govt’s regulatory bodies and has committed … medical atrocities.” 

Shortly after the start of the COVID-19 so-called pandemic, Trozzi became a vocal critic of the mainstream narrative surrounding the virus. He was suspended for giving out COVID jab exemptions by the CPSO shortly after mandates took effect. 

At the end of 2020, Trozzi walked away from his extraordinarily successful career, sold his family home, and committed himself completely to alerting the public to the falsehoods concerning COVID. 

McCullough said anyone who was ‘part of the process’ in promoting the COVID shots will be ‘held accountable’  

During his testimony in defense of Trozzi, McCullough said plainly that anyone who was “coercing or promoting the vaccine” was “part of the process” and will one day face justice. 

“[These people] will be held accountable at some point in time,” commented McCullough to the OPSDT panel. 

McCullough noted how there have been “record injuries, disabilities and deaths,” because of the experimental COVID shots.  

“Sadly,” noted McCullough, many “will die worldwide.” 

He then blasted most of the medical community for being what he said was in “lockstep” with one another for what he called the pharmaceutical “cabal.”  

The final legal arguments in Trozzi’s CPSO trial will be taking place on July 17-18. After that, a judgment will be rendered. 

The CPSO has thus far initiated legal action against Trozzi and five other doctors who are committed to their Hippocratic Oath responsibilities related to COVID: Mary O’Connor, Rochangé Kilian, Celeste Jean Thirlwell, Patrick Phillips, and Crystal Luchkiw. 

Trozzi, along with other pro-medical freedom doctors, will be in attendance at LifeSiteNews’ 25th Anniversary Canadian Gala on July 18, in Markham, Ontario.
