WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — Missouri-based chiropractor Dr. Eric Nepute joined other doctors on Capitol Hill this week to address medical crimes perpetrated during the COVID-19 so-called pandemic and the coordinated attack on the ethical practice of medicine carried out by the U.S. government.

Speaking at the White Coat Summit in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, July 27, hosted by America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS), Nepute detailed in a conference titled “Resisting Weaponized Government Agencies,” the persecution he met at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown when he went on record publicly affirming the effectiveness of over-the-counter medications and supplements such as vitamin D, zinc, and ivermectin in combatting the virus.
Nepute was hit with a $508 billion lawsuit for bucking the mainstream narrative on COVID-19 and the so-called “vaccines,” advocating instead for the use of zinc to boost the immune system. The formal charge was that he had violated the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act, a measure included in the 3,000-page omnibus bill signed in 2020 which allowed for large movements of COVID money by the government. Nepute allegedly violated the COVID Consumer Protection Act a total of 10,175,234 times, though the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has not explained where the massive number came from, the River Front Times reported. The measure is no longer a law.
Detailing the ways in which the U.S. government came after him, Nepute said in 2020, the federal government sent out a global press release defaming his medical reputation for proposing therapeutics other than the Big Pharma-backed vaccines as treatments for COVID-19.
“They took away 90 per cent of my income,” Nepute said. “We lost over $20 million in revenues. I’ve spent as of today $5.1 million defending myself against the federal government and the tyranny that’s happened because of that.”
Fired from a nutritional company that he started — which took a million-dollar settlement from the government — and blacklisted internationally, Nepute had to defend his professional medical license five times before medical boards as well as the State of Missouri, each time doing so successfully. Five of his bank accounts were shut down together with his wife’s personal bank account. His ability to communicate with patients on social media was blocked. Facebook censored him on orders from the federal government. And he received death threats.
Quoting St. Paul, Nepute declared, “We do not fight against flesh and blood, but against rulers and principalities in dark and evil high places… After you put on the entire armor of God and there’s nothing left to do but stand, you stand.”
Rousing his colleagues to resist the government pressures he had been met with, Nepute said, “What’s contagious is courage… We’re going keep telling the truth, and we must understand, we serve a great God… It’s our job to keep showing the data… If we keep putting it on the table, it’s up to God to do the rest.”

Doctors who spoke at the Thursday event included mRNA pioneer and prominent COVID jab critic Dr. Robert Malone, former emergency room doctor Simone Gold, an early opponent of draconian COVID-19 lockdowns and mandates and founder of AFLDS, and Dr. James Todaro, an ophthalmology specialist with a medical degree from Columbia University in New York City. Each in their own way has fought for medical freedom from the censorship and use of government power against critics of the COVID-19 narrative.
