X CEO Elon Musk is reportedly planning a town hall with Former President Donald Trump following his guilty verdict last week.

The Wall Street Journal reported that X is joining with the TV network NewsNation to air the events live on both platforms.

“The plans are part of a broader push by Musk to make X a center of political discussion. X is also planning a similar town hall for the independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., according to a person familiar with the plans, who said the dates for the events haven’t been confirmed,” the outlet reported.

The event was originally planned as a debate, but restructured after the Biden campaign was invited but declined to do either a debate or a town hall.
