PragerU App Removed From Google Play Store – American Faith

The Google App Store removed the PragerU app, citing “hate speech.”

The conservative organization received a notification saying the app was removed from the store for its failure to “comply with the Hate Speech policy.”

“Your app contains content that doesn’t comply with the Hate Speech policy,” the notification read, explaining that the PragerU app featured “content or speech asserting that a protected group is inhuman, inferior or worthy of being hated.”

PragerU wrote on social media that the alleged “hate speech” violation targeted its new documentary titled, “Dear Infidels: A Warning to America.”

PragerU launched a petition in an effort to have Google reinstate its app.

“Google suspended and removed the PragerU app from their platform, falsely accusing us of ‘hate speech’ for our documentary Dear Infidels: A Warning to America, which features first-hand accounts from individuals who escaped the oppressive grip of Islamic rule,” the petition reads.

The organization said Google is utilizing “Soviet-style tactics and attempting to silence us for simply spreading the truth.”

“According to Google, sharing the stories of a former Palestinian refugee, an Arab Muslim born in Israel, and brave U.S. Navy SEALs who witnessed the horrors of Muslim extremism constitutes ‘hate speech.’”

“This is a blatant attempt to silence truth and censor speech. Don’t let Big Tech get away with this,” the petition continues. “We urgently need your help to fight back against this suppression.”
