U.S. President Joe Biden released a video condemning the Dobbs Decision and the 2nd anniversary of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
The video urged Democrats to support Biden’s reelection campaign.
“Two years ago, the Supreme Court justices that Trump handpicked helped overturn Roe v. Wade,” Biden said in a video posted to YouTube. “Decades of progress shattered just because the last guy got four years in the White House. We know what will happen if he gets another four.”
“For MAGA Republicans, Roe is just the beginning,” Biden added. “They’re going to try to ban the right to choose nationwide. They’re coming for IVF and birth control next.”
“We’re up against extremism,” he declared,” noting that he will fight to “restore Roe v. Wade and protect American freedom.”
A Biden campaign account also shared an ad on X, formerly Twitter, writing, “NEW AD: Women are suffering across America because Donald Trump overturned Roe v. Wade.”
“Trump is a convicted felon who thinks he shouldn’t be held accountable for his own criminal actions—but he wants to let women and doctors be punished,” the statement continued.
The post shared a video of a woman explaining she had a miscarriage, not an abortion. She added that women “want to support someone that does have our best interests at heart.”
