The Border Patrol Union emphasized that they have not endorsed Joe Biden.
The move follows Biden’s claim during the June 27 debate that he received an endorsement by the Border Patrol, prompting the organization to write on X, “To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden.”
Former Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd clarified the group’s position with Biden on Fox News.
“To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden,” he said. “The border can be secured tomorrow if we would go back, and we would look at the policies that were in place that President Trump built. They were great policies.”
Vice President of the Border Patrol Union Art Del Cueto also explained, “I couldn’t believe what I was hearing,” referring to Biden’s false claim.
“It was shocking,” Del Cueto declared, adding, “It’s shocking when you hear this administration, to begin with, say that the border was secure – they’ve ignored it for several years – but this one was a new one for me, actually.”
“We continue to see this administration not acknowledge that there’s a problem at the border,” he added.
