PORTLAND, Ore. — OCP is honored to announce the 2024 OCP Parish Grant recipients. The OCP Parish Grants Program provides direct financial assistance to parishes seeking to enhance the worship experience of their communities. Since 2001, OCP has donated more than $3.45 million to parishes and college ministries in the United States and territories. This year, 129 organizations across the country received grants.

“Whether your church needs to make repairs to a piano or organ, purchase a new sound system or hymnals, or has other needs related to music and liturgy, OCP can help. Our mission is to serve and support all communities striving to worship God in the Mass with beauty and reverence,” said OCP Publisher Wade Wisler. “And our Parish Grants program is one of the best and most practical ways we do that.”

This year’s grant recipients include Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moultrie, Georgia. “Despite their limited means, this congregation is flourishing, which means your grant award will provide needed resources that will further engage this growing and enthusiastic faith community,” said Kelliann Whitney, the Diocese of Savannah’s associate director of development.

Both St. Augustine Catholic Parish and St. Mary of the Lake in the Archdiocese of Chicago received grants, and, “These funds will make an important contribution to growing vitality in both parishes,” said Cardinal Blase Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago.

Sacred Heart Mission in Salem, West Virgnia also received a grant this year. “I am impressed with your commitment to assist parishes who stand in need,” said Bishop Mark Brennan of the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese. “It is clear that OCP is not just a business, but a willing participant in the mission of the Church.”
