Former President Donald Trump was greeted by a massive crowd upon arriving back to Mar-a-Lago this week.
“Huge crowd for President Trump late last night as he returned to Mar-a-Lago. The Donald truly is the people’s President,” former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino wrote on social media.
Shortly after Trump was found guilty in the hush money case last week, his campaign website crashed from a surge of donations to his second presidential campaign.
“WinRed is down due to the overwhelming amount of support out there, all across America! Stay strong, and thank you. The site will be up and running again soon!” Scavino wrote on X, later adding, “WEBSITE IS BACK, LIVE!”
As individuals went to the site to donate to Trump’s campaign, a banner read, “Under Maintenance.”
“Our engineers are working to provide you with a better experience. We will be back shortly,” the statement said.
As the site came back, several individuals donated the maximum amount.
Political commentator Tim Pool wrote on social media, “I have just donated the maximum to Donald Trump.”
Writer Clay Travis wrote, “I have made a maximum individual donation to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. I will be giving much more to others as well. I’d encourage you to join me in donating whatever you can afford to Trump’s campaign as well.”
