Tomorrow will officially commence September’s super moon, which is also acting as blood moon, harvest moon and a partial lunar eclipse. This lunar eclipse comes after the Great American eclipse, and right before the Rosh Hashanah eclipse takes place. While there’s no doubt that there is something special about having these eclipses happen all within the same calendar year, one thing we must be wary of is the mainstream media’s push to use this as a time to engage with demonic manifestations.

ABC, which has recently received backlash after their handling of the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, recently published an article about this rare phenomenon of the coming super moon lunar eclipse. However, one whole section is titled “Rituals and manifestations to try during the harvest moon.”
Terrifying. They then go on to write, “To make the best use of this intense energy, many astrologers believe that a full moon is a great time to manifest your dreams.”
Yikes.
Another mainstream outlet, People, also jumped on the bandwagon with an article called “All About September’s Full Moon and What it Means for Your Zodiac Sign.” Times of India also hopped onto this same train of thought with their story: “Full Moon in September 2024: How to Manifest During Harvest Moon.”
Our culture is more steeped into witchcraft and New Age practices than most of us realize. Wanting to see change in our lives is a reality for most of us. However, seeking out practices and ways to manifest things just because a full moon is out is lethal for our spiritual lives. Dealing with the occult, New Age and other witchcraft practices means a person is dealing directly with the pit of hell and allowing demonic entities to come in and pull the strings to their lives.

God created the heavens and the earth, and we can admire them through the lens that it is His handiwork. Psalm 8:3-4 reads, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You attend to him?”
God created the heavens and the earth, but it is us that He loves and chose to give Himself for. Instead of trusting in the creation, we are called to trust the Creator, the One who made the heavens and the earth. So, on this coming day of the harvest super moon eclipse, thank God for the beauty of nature, but place your full trust in Him to take care of all your needs. Only through Christ can we experience exceedingly, abundantly far more than anything we could have hoped for or imagined.
