Canadian Muslim accuses Trudeau gov’t of having him suspended from X for protesting LGBT ideology – LifeSite

OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) – A Canadian Muslim planning a major protest against the LGBT agenda is claiming that the federal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had him suspended from X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

On August 1, Kamel El-Cheikh, an Ottawa businessman and Muslim activist against LGBT indoctrination in schools, announced that his account on X had been suspended at the request of the Trudeau government under its internet censorship law, Bill C-11.

According to El-Cheikh, X and its owner Elon Musk are not to blame for his suspension. Instead, he said that someone from his team was told that “the Trudeau government made that personal request” to have his account removed under Bill C-11.

Passed in April 2023, Bill C-11 mandates that the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) be in charge of regulating online content on platforms to ensure that such platforms are promoting content in accordance with a variety of CRTC guidelines.

El-Cheikh believes the suspension is a result of an “exceptional” interview with freelance journalist David Krayden who writes for the Post Millennial and Epoch Times.

During the interview, El-Cheikh a devout Muslim, and Krayden, an Evangelical Christian, became “brothers,” not just “friends,” united in the fight against LGBT indoctrination of children in public schools.

Mrs. Sheree Di Vittorio, a Coptic Christian parent, was fired by AutoTrader after radical left-wing activists contacted the company about her opposition to the promotion of LGBT ideologies at a local school.

Join us in boycotting AutoTrader for this apparent anti-Christian discrimination.

SIGN: We will boycott AutoTrader until it apologizes for discriminating against a Christian employee

Mrs. Di Vittorio sent her child to a York Catholic elementary school because she expected it to uphold her Christian principles.

She spoke up at a York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) meeting to object to the school’s sexualization of children and promotion of gender-confusion.

Di Vittorio did not expect to be fired from her job without cause after standing up for the rights and safety of children.

Police were called into a peaceful meeting, and the personal details of the speakers were released by the school board. Subsequently, Di Vittorio was defamed in an article by the highly propagandized, government- funded CBC.

After woke trolls demanded that AutoTrader terminate this mother, AutoTrader did so without any investigation, violating her rights.

The cowardice and intolerance of AutoTrader should concern us. Are we living in a totalitarian state? Who will be next?

Sign & Share: We won’t do business with AutoTrader until they apologize for this Orwellian discrimination

AutoTrader should stick to helping people purchase vehicles, not thought policing their employees in the exercise of their parental and civic duties.

“They didn’t want that momentum,” El-Cheikh said.

While El-Cheikh’s original account was suspended, he has since created a second account. Many are also calling for El-Cheikh to be reinstated, including Krayden.

“Are you mad as hell and not going to take it anymore?” Krayden questioned. “My speech today Ottawa Parliament Hill on parental rights and upcoming #1millonmarchforchildren Sept 20.”

“I also spoke how @elonmusk needs to reinstate Kamel El-Cheikh Twitter Acct!” he declared.

El-Cheikh’s suspension also comes shortly after he announced the “Million Person March” to combat LGBT indoctrination in schools planned for September 20 in Ottawa.

On that day, El-Cheikh hopes to gather Canadians of all faiths to march against LGBT ideology being pushed on children in the nation’s schools.

The march comes amid growing momentum from the Muslim community which has recently joined Christians in the fight against LGBT indoctrination.

On June 1, thousands of students across Canada stayed home as part of a Campaign Life Coalition initiative to protest the promotion of “Pride Month” in the public education system, with at least one school reportedly having 75 percent of its students missing.

Earlier this year, a leaked audio recording of Canadian teacher lambasting her Muslim students for missing school to protest “pride” sparked backlash across social media. Many were outraged that the teacher implied that students cannot withhold support for “pride” and be “Canadian.”

In June, video footage of Muslim boys trampling “pride” flags at a pro-family rally organized by Christian activist Josh Alexander went viral.

Later that same month, a group of Muslims gathered outside Trudeau’s office on Wellington Street in downtown Ottawa to demand an end to LGBT indoctrination in the classroom.

And again in late June, well over 250 Muslim and Christian parents, children, and other pro-family citizens gathered for the second straight weekend in Calgary, Alberta, to protest the ongoing promotion of extreme LGBT ideology in public schools.

As the protests continue to increase in frequency and turnout, Trudeau, instead of addressing the concerns of parents, lectured Muslims on participating in these pro-family events, claiming that the protests are “fueled by the American right-wing.”

Trudeau then claimed that online material is “being weaponized by people who are not doing it because of their interest in supporting the Muslim community.”
