Rock Band Threatens to Take ‘Actions’ Against Trump for Using Their Song During Rally – American Faith

The rock band Foo Fighters has issued a warning to President Trump, threatening “appropriate actions” after their 1990s hit “My Hero” was played as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took the stage at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday night.

The threat follows other instances where legal action has been considered over the unauthorized use of songs at Trump campaign events.

Kennedy, who earlier that day suspended his independent presidential campaign and endorsed Trump, was greeted with enthusiasm by the 17,000 Trump supporters attending the Turning Point Action rally at the Desert Diamond Arena, where Trump was the headliner.

The use of “My Hero” at the rally has prompted the Foo Fighters to join other artists who have previously objected to their music being used without permission at political events, particularly those associated with Trump.
