If someone was not knowledgeable about the Bible and wondered if what it contained was real, they would only have to look at how often it was attacked, misrepresented and manipulated to affirm worldly lifestyles to see that Satan is constantly trying to alter the Word of God.
Now, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are targeting Christianity and the Bible to justify their unbiblical take on living with nature.
Utilizing ChatGPT, which everyone from elementary age children to academics are using for various purposes, PETA decided to re-write the book of Genesis and make it “vegan friendly.”
In this “new” and “updated for modern audiences” version which now is no longer the Word of God, animals are referred to as “beings” instead of beasts and creatures. This ensures that they are viewed as PETA wants them, not as God designed them.
Perish the thought that Adam and Eve wore animal skins upon their exit from paradise. That is ‘barbaric.’ Instead, they lived in harmony with their furry and feathery equals while making their clothes from plants such as hemp and bamboo, because according to PETA: “No one with any fashion or moral sense would wear animal skins in the 21st century.”
But what rewrite of a sacred religious text would be complete without the president of the organization trashing the Bible to justify the new and improved version:
“The Bible has long been used to justify all forms of oppression, so we’ve used ChatGPT to make it clear that a loving God would never endorse exploitation of or cruelty to animals,” PETA President Ingrid Newkirk says. “It took God only six days to create the entire world, but we realized it would take us years to rewrite the whole Bible, which is why we’ve started with just the first book.”
Well Ingrid, God literally told the Israelites to offer up to Him sacrifices of animals, and up until the sacrifice of Jesus, this was how the remittance of sins was performed in the Temple.
As readers delve further into the new narrative of what PETA calls the book of Genesis, they made sure that the story of Abraham was “cruelty-free.”
Instead of sacrificing a ram in the place of his son Isaac, Abraham “befriends a gentle lamb to show his reverence and respect for God’s creation.”
A lamb taught Abraham reverence and respect for God’s creation…let that one sink in.
Forget the tremendous amount of disrespect and contempt this abomination shows towards not just Christians, but Jews as well. It is doubtful that they plan any attempts at rewriting the Islamic texts of faith however, yet the claims they make regarding Abraham, the father of the Semitic race which includes Arabs, is sure to irk many within the Muslim faith.
Because they did not stop with altering the story of Abraham and Isaac, oh no…
In the 21st chapter of the heretical texts, when Abraham and Sarah bore Isaac in their old age, they seem to have adopted a dog named Herbie (from where, nobody knows), according to PETA.
“As they walked with Herbie, Sarah and Abraham thought of the importance of adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations rather than purchasing them from breeders,” goes the PETA version of the story. “They spoke of how buying a dog or cat from a breeder or a pet shop contributes to the companion animal overpopulation crisis…” PETA’s Bible reads.
Because of course, there were shelters, rescue organizations and a problem with animal overpopulation in the book of Genesis.
PETA is offering their Bible version for $3.99 in their online store.
The potentially overlooked issue with this ridiculous corruption of the Word of God, is that as crazy as all of this is, it is a continued attack altering the Bible and using corrupted versions like this one to lead people astray. That is Satan’s goal behind this text that is far from the Word of God.
Revelation 22:18-19 clearly establishes that the Bible is not to be altered. As such, PETA’s Bible is a blatant attack on God’s Word and the saving knowledge held within it; it holds little relationship to the actual Bible.
Works like this false Bible can, and will, be used to deceive the unknowing. It is the responsibility of Christians to counteract the false prophets in the world with biblical literacy and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
